    I found AT off inside FAF and using rudder for minor lateral control to stay laser focused on FD helps me a great deal, also stepping on rising wing during GA is brilliant, this presentation is a thing of beauty, you rock bro!

    I love this channel's simplified explanations of complex concepts. Looking forward to enrolling in one of their courses soon after I'm done with my CPL MEIR. With love and best wishes from India!

    We are not allowed to use FD during single engine ILS, but we do have xwind and gust. How's that lol

    What do you do for living now? Who do you work for? I have always been very good at this stuff, but I had a bad day with HUD and all. It’s good to hear all the pointers. Thank you.

    This 4 units if trim is for thr 737 right... What about the A320 around 17-18?

  • @almorkans3171
    @almorkans3171 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Now, add the complication of crosswind to the single engine ILS!

    In 8, 5, 3 rule, why we need only 3 units of trim for the approach when we are slowing down with config change? Anyone could enlighten me please?

  • @orhunaltug8430

    At 28:00 why do we use rudder instead of the ailerons?

    • @alessio272
      @alessio272 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Ailerons lose authority at or close to Vref speeds. Remember A320 and 737s have a swept wing profile and when air flow loses effectiveness from to tips to the wing root.

      @@orhunaltug8430 Also something to think about is the amount of aileron required is going to throw up the spoilers on one side of the wing, and thats the last thing you need in such a critical phase of flight.
