This is because people will think number with "4" is misfortune, therefore replaced with 3A, 13A, 24A instead, but this is "13" missing, which I wonder why too. haha

I don't know what you mean by no more budget airlines, since the vast majority of people and companies would prefer to have cheap flight tickets. Despite people complaining about budget airlines are always late or aircraft makes weird noises, when it comes to vacation or traveling, people would always go for the cheapest tickets. As for not surviving in the long term, Southwest Airlines is the oldest low budget airline in the world. It was founded in 1971. That airline is older than my parents!

Been to Malaysia twice, the last one was in Mallaca. We stayed then at Hatten Hotel and was surprised to have our room at the 13th floor. First time in my life to have something associated with the number 13 as here in the Philippines, in our condo, there's definitely no Floor 13 and again, to my surprise, also no Floor 14. It's a Chinese superstition, no number 13, number 4 and now also 14. It's very much deemed unlucky though I think it's a nonsense. What does the number have to do with luck? It's all in the mind. A bit awkward to think Malaysians have a thing about the number 13 but then again, the founder of the airline was of Chinese descent, so are other Malaysians, the tradition remains.
Negative. Chinese don't have anything against the number 13. And not all Chinese don't like the number 4. That would primarily be Cantonese speaking groups.

The thing with the number 13 comes from the defeat of the TEMPLE ORDER a thousend years ago, no? Knights defeated by the catholic church. Was a Friday. 13th of October (I think).

Many cultures consider number 4 and number 13 as unlucky numbers. Similiar to how Friday the 13th is considered unlucky. In some places at Asia, having those kinds of numbers is another way of attracting bad luck energy.
Love your historical tidbits. Some criticism from a fan-- improve the volume between scenes and consider upgrading cameras might go a long way. Keep up the good work, and always nice seeing you have fun!
Upgrade to what? Already have the latest gear.
That a319 model that you bought stole my attention 😄.Which livery is it Josh?
Row 13 is also missing in some western airlines as they've received complaints from customers
most likely better than air Asia i traveled on other day to Tokyo will never complain about Ryanair after the trip with them that's for sure, most scary flight i ever had and had plenty over the years. plus the fact nearly frozen to death no toilet rolls in loos i thought of your loo reviews at the time lol.
@@Silverelfz NEGATIVE? Tell that to the developer, whose roots are Chinese, who built, and still building, countless condominiums here. Let's see what they'll tell you about Chinese customs, Feng Shui and what have you.
@@glenndavidtorres LOL. The stigma against 13 is a western thing. If you see it in various Chinese related locations, it's because it's a western influence. Same as 4, it's a Cantonese influence.
That's simply how it is, and nah I don't really hear it from people, I know it.
@@Silverelfz LOL also, 🤣🤣🤣, you haven't been to China or Chinese communities. Go out of your cave and learn something. 😂😂😂
@@Silverelfz so Cantonese is not Chinese? LOL! 🤣🤣🤣
You know NOTHING. WESTERN MY ASS, BWAHAHAHA! 😂😂😂
My Qantas cabin crew trainer was on the QF1 which went off the runway for her inaugural flight 😅
4:28...wats the model plane u bought?
He's been lugging around that package for the last few videos. I'm curious too!
Fantastic Josh Cahill thanks a million sir, you are doing a great job, please come to Nigeria once again,we love you so much sir.
oh I miss AirBerlin .... :o (because you mentioned it)
Noel Philips must be unhappy that he missed doing this loo review.
Awesome video.
The thing with the number 13 comes from the defeat of the TEMPLE ORDER a thousend years ago, no?
Knights defeated by the catholic church.
Was a Friday. 13th of October (I think).
I have been as a passenger for MYAirlines (Suvarnabumi - KLIA) their service quite good compare with AA… For me the budget airlines need competitor since nowadays as we need to get the best service eventhough its only budget…
Josh you’ve been carrying that model airplane box all around Asia and I really want to know…what plane model is that?
No more competition with airasia?
KLM doesn’t have row 13 either.
I don't blame the cabin crew for being unmotivated. Not getting paid has a way of doing that to working people. Nobody should be working for free (that's called "slavery").
a lot of tall buildings don't have a 13th floor, either.
I remeber that Lufthansa didn't featured row 13 also
