Everything's more expensive outside the city. Everything gets shipped from Toronto, so the further away, the more expensive and the fewer options you have.
Drake was actually spotted on top of the Scotiabank areana i believe a couple of days ago he was filming a music video. So ya in Toronto you never know you might see drake if you look up 😂😂😂
Architecturally it's the same as many regions around the world. Most European cities have the same general feel and architecture, same with Asian. If they grew up around the same time, they used the same technology and influences. Montreal isn't that different from Toronto in many ways, though did keep more of its older architecture than Toronto did. Toronto also boomed at a different time than Montreal (it's political, totally different discussion) so went all in on modern skycrapers etc (whether that's good or not). To the original comment there's a lot about Toronto that is decidedly *not* like most American cities I've visited when it comes to in-city villages, approach to highways vs transit and so on.
@@sirjohneh General feel for a North Americans . Rome is not Paris I not London is not Amsterdam. As each cities have been able to develop it own personality and architecture in a period cultural exchange and transport were harder. Montréal with it's outside staircase is unique to the city .
Thank you for visiting Canada glad you had fun. As a home sick Canadian living abroad thanks. Come back.

Also at the grocery store...you are downtown... are prices in the US the same in Idaho as they are in Manhattan?? ...nope

You’re right. Typical American city
Toronto looks like a typical american city, to feel that you are in another country , Montréal is much better to visit .
Provided you speak French. They’re not too friendly with Anglo visitors (personal experience).
@@beentheredonethat8280 It may be the same if you do not speaking any english in Toronto.

@@sirjohneh Same in many regions ? Yes it is generic in the modern part of Montréal but certainly not in the Plateau district.
