he gets progressively “better” because it’s an act, it’s not genuine and that takes away a lot because he just decided like 10 brackets in to just all of a sudden just start acting way less aware and more dumb then he actually is. It’s played out

The worst video games to be good at are traditional fighting games like Street Fighter. Those games aren’t even fun to begin with, and if there’s a skill gap it’s pointless. At least in Super Smash Bros, if you’re the best in a group you can dick around and have fun still.
