@hikingwithpuddin I'm sure, unless you are an adult in their 60's, it seems younger people don't want to spend much time around us old timers. People like myself love to be around younger folks because it keeps us young at heart. Even though I'm old in age I'm energetic and don't want to slow down. Wish younger ones would take us in and let us be part of the fun. :-)
I started late in season, July 12. All snow was clear up north and I didnt have any issues but I was late to the game and caught tons in Colorado in October.. I think it all differs year to year honestly
It’s definitely better with a friend! But all depends what you are looking for in a hike. I started later in the season and haven’t met many others yet
