His skill set was ahead of his time tbf. I think if he was healthy and put into todays nba he’s learning how to shoot 50% from 3, and blocking every shot while being the successor to the big fundamentals. Idk it might just be me but I feel like Jokic is a comparable player to Yao, kinda slowish since they couldn’t move like a Ja Morant or D rose, but still somehow got the job done very smoothly somehow.

Yao was actually a pretty good shooter for a big man with 83.3% free throw. 86.5% for his best season. if he trained on 3s he might get pretty good at that too.

And used the roster for that year. He was a top lottery pick. So naturally he would be drafted by a lottery team and not rockets with a superstar harden!
