From all my 2k simulations, I've learned that tendencies and attributes change according to how you play the player. I haven't tested it, but if you give a player with a B- potential starter minutes, and they preform well and you adjust their shot tendency a little, their potential will increase to an A-. The same could be said vise versa. I wish 2k did a better job of adjusting tendencies and player progression, but its cool how 2k changes the player based off of their role.
This is true. In my resim Lebron won about 16 DPOYs because he was drafted to the raptors and had less of a scoring role

And We Back: Trade for a player you traded away. Trick is you can’t use any players in the trade you used for a different trade.
You get assets and you flip them: trade for a player and trade him away but it has to be for a lower overall player
BOOM!: Trade for a 95+ player. If you drafted one in the fantasy draft that doesn’t count
Short King: trade for a player under 6ft and he has to get at least 15 minutes a game.
Defense wins championships: trade for a player who has at least A perimeter and A post defense.
If you know you know: trade for a player who is widely considered a meme player on the channel.
A word from today’s sponsor: trade for a player who has his own signature shoe.
50/40/90 club: trade for someone who is shooting at least 2 of these percentages this season.

Height does basically nothing in sim it’s ab attributes and badges. A 5’4 guy can average double digit rebounds with the right attributes and badges

I notice that if you control a team that you do not touch anything on, they make bad decisions. Which makes sense because all of the other teams have a GM with better stats and an assistant to back them up.

Kenny Two slider that should help improve the AI/CPU on 2k are Offensive Awareness and Offensive Consistency.
You can do the same for the Defensive slider as well, just don't raise them too high or you going to have demons on the court.

VIDEO IDEA: You should take the 2k rookie versions of 3 nba legends at the same position and combine them by taking the best atrubute to the biggest guy. For example for pg you could choose Magic curry and the glove so you have magic's size and passing while having GP's defense and curry shooting.
Challenge: Create a roster with a 13 man rotation having all equal minutes with the remaining minutes going to the 2 lowest rated players in the rotation. 3 tries. First try, you can’t use the top 15 players. Second try, you can’t use the top 10 players. Third try, only the top 5 players are off limits.
