噂では、うつ伏せに倒れたウルトラマンにゼットンが追い打ちをかけて、カラータイマーを執拗に攻撃するシーンがあったのですが、放送時間の都合か、あるいはあまりにも惨すぎると言う理由でカットされたと言う話があります。
例の倒れているシーンをよく見ると、カラータイマーになにか透明のフィルムのようなものがかけられており、生命活動を凍結させられたような描写として捉えることもできます。
