so basically you have to complete you LLB degree from a recognised uni mainly national law universities...then LLM or you can directly attempt judiciary exams of your own state or any state....after 10 years of experience you may or may not get selected by the colegium....TBH if you are from judiciary background like your parents or relatives are judges or from legal background you can be CJI very easily but first generation law students get hardly any chances to become CJI,it is all about nepotism
