The way recent Boruto anime proved Ino is the best of friends anyone could ask for on whom sakura still relies on, the most ideal parent who never doubts her kid's abilities, never forces her wishes on him and lets him walk on his own path even if it means to discard her clan's traditions, the best daughter who is devoting her life to carry on her late-father's legacy so far that she even rebuilt the entire sensory system of the village, a well respected and superb kunoichi who leads her clan, security division, and helps in interrogations while going on missions as well, a wonderful housewife who takes care of a family while running a flower shop because it's something she wants to do. On top of that with her contributions in war, Ino has always been the best girl.
This is how parents should treat their children. Not to impose what they think is right on them or what they like and allow them to choose their own path. Edit: Am saying some parents not all parents because some kids need guidance too.

I always thought Ino wasn't a bad person. Just seeing how she protected Sakura when they were children (and sakura putting an end to their friendship for sasuke lol). she wasn't a bully and she annoyed me waaaay less than sakura. we didn't see her much in naruto but I'm glad we can see her in Boruto, she ended being a great mom and have a beautiful family
Sakura set their friendship aside, but it was mutual. They both considered each other rivals, and then made up for it together. She was also just as head over heels for Sakura, the only reason you didn't find her as annoying was because we didn't see her as often

It strange how much that the characters that we’ve grown to love are still developing even as all of them ARE parents. It’s really weird, yet comforting at the same time. At least we’re seeing them develop their characters along with their children, right?
I love sai's character development throughout naruto and boruto. He changed feom a airhead to a devoted dad and husband. I like him and ino together as a side note.
For a father who doesn't know much about relationships, he knows how to be wholesome for his family. Perhaps we all can relate to him in some way, shape or form.
Episodes like this shows just how much ahead is the staff plans in terms of story, this entire episode was not only super good but in the future will be really important context wise when certain scene with Kashin Koji happens.
I appreciate moments like this that focus on other characters and flesh them out. It makes what happens to them more impactful and shows that there's more to being a ninja than fighting. Now if only they could.maintain the character building in Boruto, the animation of Shippuden during fight scenes and the feeling of the first Naruto where you could tell this world was going to be something new like Dragonball/z
