You should know they have many more Instrumental tracks (Without Holding Back, Don’t Be Long), and instrumental-only versions of songs with lyrics (YOLO, Giovanni, Domination, After-Life,…many more) available as music only on the Releases tab on their channel or only via the DVD/Bluray White-Room editions, not available on TH-cam - but can be provided for a reaction via a friendly Maidiac.
So glad you enjoyed the video. Band Maid music tends to bring joy to the listener. The more you listen the more the more joy you experience. So come back to Band Maid when you want some more joy I would.

You chose one of the two instrumental songs in BAND-MAID's 59 music videos. I think the drums keep the rhythm of BAND-MAID's songs and support the complex changes in the songs. The drums hold together the song that the members sometimes play at different times.
Yep, Akane stood out to me right at the start when I was first discovering Band-Maid. In particular I was impressed with her creative and tasteful use of double kicks but her overall style, though obviously rock in nature, reminded me of some great Jazz drummers I have enjoyed by constantly changing things up to keep the song interesting. Add the rest of these stellar musicians and I was in heaven. I'm glad you are enjoying the ride with these ladies. I know I have.

Nice job DLD. When it comes to mixing high level musicianship with fun fun FUN, the maids stand alone. Just sayin. And - you really did hit the nail on the head talking about Akane, because she is so unpredictable. She's way more out front than most drummers, and she doesn't repeat patters for more than a couple of measures sometimes. She'll also leave you hanging sometimes on the beat where a fill normally happens - and then blast away an epic fill before your mind can even process it. She'll bounce back and forth between accenting vocal lines, keeping time or going in tandem with other instruments. Totally unique. Just one thing though - you forgot to let the song end. You were probably distracted by their awesomeness.
