Hailey you are amazing! 🎉 Thank you so much for being so vulnerable and open with us! I am almost at the end of my pregnancy and about to meet my little boy so I love how much I can relate and connect with you and I love getting all the tips for the future. I have been following you back when you were teaching right before you guys decided to move so I think just over a year or maybe even more. I am also a Kindergarten teacher so that is why I began following you and now being a momma soon too and same age its been so cool to connect with you and your stories! So please know no matter how many times you post every video I love and enjoy! ❤
Started following you since your first classroom setup. I love your videos, whatever content you post. I'm from the Pacific northwest, grew up in Oregon, have lived in Washington, now a teacher in Northern California. Your down to earth, genuine personality inspires me to follow you. You're doing an amazing job as a new mom and Nora is adorable!
Hey Hailey!! I remember I found you while searching up new teacher videos. At the time (summer 2019) I was also about to start my first year teaching and had no clue about what to even buy LOL your channel helped me so much and you gave me a ton of cool ideas. I remember going “oh look, she’s also a first year teacher and is ALSO starting now!”. I am not teaching anymore but I love your videos. It’s been so nice getting to follow you and your little family during these years. Best wishes and good luck with everything. Norah is precious❤️❤️
I have been following since your first classroom setup. I am a teacher from the UK. Even though my babies are now teenagers and we are at different stages of life, I really enjoy watching your videos, as I really like your gentle personality - it’s very relaxing to listen to you. My children have always loved to read and my husband and I have read to them since they were born - sometimes for hours when they were little! It’s great to see you reading with Nora - what a cutie 🥰
Aw how fun! How different is it teaching in the UK from what you've seen in the US? I'm always curious about teachers in other countries! Thank you for being here :)
@@haileykatelynn The main difference is that we plan and teach 12 different subjects. In our school (a small one form entry village school from 4-11yrs) teachers have their own class all day, except for 2 hours a week planning and preparation time, when PE is taught by a sports teacher.
I discovered your channel through your WGU video. Your video helped me decide to give WGU a try, and I was able to earn my master’s degree in just under six months. I continued to follow you because you have a cute personality and, as a teacher, it is fun to see what other teachers do.
So good to see the update. When you say you are building her reading endurance, about how long do you read to her in a sitting?… my three month old likes about 2 books, I didn’t even consider that I could build his endurance. I would love to work on that. Most of my friends aren’t reading to their babies yet so I was excited to hear that from you.
It honestly depends on the day/time of day! When she was around that age, I would say she would sit still for about two books as well. I started to give her a blanket to cuddle with or a toy to fidget with around that age and that helped us be able to get 1-2 more books! But I would say around 6 months is when I really started to notice a difference in her being interested in reading for longer periods of time and I help keep her interested by switching between a new book, her favorite books, and facing towards her and really animatedly reading 😆 I'll try to show/talk about this more in another vlog! You're doing a great job mama!
My preschool students have Dear Zoo and it's one of their favorites! I started following you a couple of years ago when you were a kindergarten teacher.
It really is. I used to work with toddlers for the last 5 years I felt like it wasn’t the right fit for me once I started being a TA I knew it from the start this where I should be
Hi Hailey! I’ve been here since at least your second year teaching. I didn’t start regularly watching TH-cam until about that time. But I love watching other people’s journeys in life with things I’ve always been doing! Like teaching, pregnancy, and motherhood ☺️
Loved this and seeing a vlog from you again!! Norah is precious! It does take time to establish that routine and throwing in new jobs and a move is even more stressful! Giving yourself time to adjust is totally ok! ❤️ I’ve been following you since your kindergarten teaching days in Washington!
@@haileykatelynn your welcome. I graduate as an education major but decided not to go into teaching but I started to watch your channel because I thought I wanted to teach but ended finding something I can combine my education background and nursing
Hi Darlene! We follow "baby led weaning/feeding" so we usually just try to give Norah what we are eating, but will just serve it a little differently for her! "Solid Starts" on Instagram is SUPER helpful if you are looking for a resource and they have a free app that we use, too! She started sitting independently at about 6 months :)

@@joannamatthews5474 Wow! That is quite a bit different! Do you teach older grades?

Started following since you were setting up your classroom for your first year teaching ❤
Thanks for being here! ☺️
Your daughter is so adorable. Her little noises made me so happy .
She sure loves to talk 😆
Been following since a classroom set up video and still here . I have an 18 month old so a little ahead of you !
Oh how fun!! ☺️

Oh yay! I hope Norah really likes it as well :)
I started following you your first year as a teacher. You’re the reason why I worked so hard to be a TA for kindergarten
That is so sweet! I hope it is going well! Kinders are the best IMO ☺️

Is that a Berkey? How do you like it?
I started following either your first or second year teaching!
It is actually the ProOne Water Filter, we love it! The water here in FL tastes swampy to us 😆 😅
7 months old?! Where did time go?!
Seriously! I can't even believe it! 😆 😅
