She use to call my brothers to help her around just like u r doing. It takes hours for her to make d Dodole.. I am happy to see that u r doing same as. My Mummy This method very old type. I remember making dodol at one of my punchi's house many years ago. They wrapped the final product in something... maybe banana leaf.. and hung it so any oil would drip.

Reminds me of how my mother mada Kalu dodol. She bought only aasmi and all the other sweets were home made. She was an excellent chef like you. I learnt a lot from my mum. I too make my own sinhala New Year sweets in Austria. Thanks a lot for sharing them. You are sweet and lovely too. One can watch your videos without getting bored.
