    awesome video norm!
    expect thunderstorms at kenansville every trip
    super secure your trailer lights that 10 mile dirt road is rough
    expect a fence post line 25 feet from water line on north end
    bring a brick to chock your tires on the boat ramp if your E brake doesnt work perfectly. that boat ramp is super steep

      Rigo Rocks, great tips, especially chock your tires. Thanks for the post 👍

    Lol.. yeah the road and boat ramp make for an interesting trip but once you tackle that your good. Definitely a great place fish and I love to bowfish it but navigating it with out a mud motor is tuff. Great job showing the lake’s layout, pretty interesting to see the aerial map of it.

      Thanks for the post. Bow fishing is a lot of fun out there. The Tilapia are huge.

    Excellent video especially the wrap up at the end. Why do you suppose Fellsmere Rd doesn't connect to this place from Stickmarsh?

    • @NormGfishing
      @NormGfishing  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Much appreciated. Not sure why the roads are not connected.

    Do you fish reels that are lefty and some righty? I swear in your videos your reeling with your right hand. Today it's your left? That's awesome!!!!

    • @NormGfishing
      @NormGfishing  25 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I use right hand reels for bait caster and left for open face reels.

    Great video Norm, great guide and instruction, appreciate your review of the lake. Really like your set-up, boat and motor, can you share the make and model of each? Look forward to your future videos, keep up the great work. Look forward to meeting you on the lake some day.

    Love the video Norm. You should do a lake breakdown on all 4 marshes. So much help. I have been to Knights 3 times and did ok. But is what they call the center ditch (middle of lake) east to west runnable with a bass boat? I know it shows its between the small islands but could never really find it? North canal and the east , south canal are very runnable, and yes I drift across the flats. AND... my confidence lure is the magnum speed worm because of you. Thanks for all of your help. Hope to see you out there some day. Tight lines!

      @NormGfishing  ปีที่แล้ว

      Todd, thank you. Sounds like you know the lake well. It’s hard to beat the speed worm 👊

    Biggest bass of my life was on that lake. 8.5. I had a 23 or so lb 5 fish best that day.
    But most days on that lake have been brutally slow for me. It’s just tough fishing.

    • @NormGfishing
      @NormGfishing  ปีที่แล้ว

      8.5 is a monster bass 👍

    Nice bass and thanks for the video! You have the perfect setup for there and 3 forks, Garcia, I know you have the bass boat as well, but this is the way to go on these shallower lakes. Thanks for saving me a trip there lol I will not be taking my small cc there, 12 mile dirt road was enough for me hahaha

    • @NormGfishing
      @NormGfishing  ปีที่แล้ว

      Lol, happy to help. Yes the mud boat is a big advantage in those grassy lakes 👍👊

    My new favorite spot until Lake Poinsett returns to normal pool. Best topwatet action in the state of Florida, me and my F-150 ain’t scared of the dirt road or ramp. Last weekend was very slow, but fishing was pretty good the first two weeks on this month. Thanks for the videos - see you out on the water.

    Love your videos, Norm. Thanks for the nav on Kenansville. Been wanting to go there, but the fence post stories and the loooong dirt road have deterred me. I'll do it one day. Appreciate you! See you on the water!

      @NormG Fishing You had some good drone footage in some videos. I was wondering if you could recommend a drone? I mostly fish alone, so I would need the hover feature. Not planning anything anything hi tech, just some video of fishing for personal use. Thank you.

    Did they spray the whole lake ?

    • @NormGfishing
      @NormGfishing  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not everything was sprayed. There was still a lot of green on the south and west side.

    • @HUNTFLORIDA
      @HUNTFLORIDA ปีที่แล้ว

      I dont belive it's healthy when they do that all the hydrilla dies to the bottoms and gunks up the lake ,

    • @NormGfishing
      @NormGfishing  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      There is science behind there spraying. They are trying to make it navigational for boats. I do not agree with the spraying myself. I rather let mother nature do its thing.

    Norm, have a 20 ft Caymas, been wanting to go there. Understand the north canal, staying in the middle. Can you do a short video, on the other canal, where it would be safe to go? Also, I go to three forks, and take the chance the Santori lakes are open. Have fished the other areas with only a small bass. If, you can advise any info on the stock ponds to the east, and the west canal to the north. Really enjoyed the Garcia video, last week. Thank you, Thank you,

    • @NormGfishing
      @NormGfishing  ปีที่แล้ว

      David, next time I go to Kenansville, I will talk more about the other canal. I have not fished Three Forks. That’s on my list to do. I was always concerned about damaging my prop on the bass boat. The mud boat will not be an issue there. Thanks for the post.
