BOOMING BACOLOD - Arnold Ardoza

We used to see him riding his modified pedicab selling cigarettes and candies along Lacson Street. But a change of heart made him one of the most active residents of the city and pushes for the interests of persons with disabilities.
He is Arnold Ardosa. Born in the northern city of Sagay, Arnold and his family decided to move to Bacolod to seek for better opportunities, but contacting polio when he was 3 years old rendered him to go through their struggle without the use of his legs.
Still, Arnold managed to go to school despite his disability. His elementary years were spent at Mabini Elementary School and he eventually moved to Bacolod City National High School for his secondary education.
