First time i saw your channel. Always thought, you are one of the fighters with the most integrity. And obviously one of the greatest fighters in general. But everytime, i read or saw an interview of you, i felt nothing but respect. Your life really is an inspiration and i am glad to see, that you are the same person in your stream. Loved seeing your journey to this point and appreciate that you are still one of the all time living legends still creating history.. All the best for your future fights and in all you do Demetrious I'll be supporting you sir.. 🙏🏾
Sometimes I wonder how gender plays a role in a parental figures abuse. A lot of guys I know who has abusive fathers, seem to have similar opinions; it made them tough. But many women I know with abusive fathers, were deeply affected by that trauma. For me I was abused by my mother and my dad's second wife, who he was married to form when I was age 2 to 10. It damaged me. I truely believe that the opposite gender parent plays a huge role in a child's psychological development. The two women who were my mother figures abusing had left me permanently scarred (as of now, I am 29). I still need therapy and I believe it was a large contributing factor in my past drug abuse, alongside the PTSD I developed in the military.
I mean I’m someone who’s seen a few abusive step fathers, I won’t lie I ain’t tough, I’ve gotta get out and do shit about it but I have no drive not sure whether it’s because of me or anything I’ve been through tho
This is very true. I dont know if a study has been done, there should be! My mother was extremely abusive my step father was too. But for some reason my mothers abuse seemed to fuck with me more than my step dads. Maybe just cause she was my only blood relative but still to this day all that shit still messes with me. I hate it.
mighty mouse inspires me so much man one of the most disadvantaged fighters to ever do it, didnt complain just did it and kept pushing forward. i wish he was appreciated more when he was in the ufc
This man to me is the GOAT! Pound for pound greatest MMA fighter of all time. The most well rounded fighter to ever lace up MMA gloves. Ohhhh and he never took PEDs to get a advantage on the competition

Mighty Mouse is the Ramon Dekkers of MMA. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this reaction video. Congratulations on getting out from under Dana's poisonous thumb and getting paid in the process!
I know you really feel confident in these guys but to say 100% sure, is a bit wild. You don't even know them in real life, like know their real motivations or how they live their lives morally and ethically. All you see and hear is stuff on social media. I'm on the side of its highly likely he hasn't used them based on who he seems to be as an individual but even I'm not 100% sure.
Oh no I wanted to agree until you brought up saint pier 🤦♂️😂 you have no idea how much of a GSP fan I am but he is not natty at all. Especially when he was competing. Just because fighters don't pop doesn't mean they aren't on juice
DJ i gotta be real bro, your talent and skills are world class and the word impressive doesnt do it justice. But what im here to say is that your honesty, morality and humility at THAT level of success is literally unheard of. That is what truly makes you one of the all time greats in GENERAL not just in MMA. I'm a new fan but im legit taken back by how someone with your fame and success cant be a PEAK role model. 10/10 class. I aint tryna be a shmeat rider but this is something that needed to be said.
Hate how they tried to pass you off as some sort of coward for turning down TJ, it was very clear how much they were trying to screw you and hoping TJ would just beat you. Imagine calling the guy who was willing to go through a mixed rules fight with Rodtang a coward. I still think you'd have beaten EPO TJ
I know you're humble and down-to-earth guy but you are low-key the goat. And should be mentioned any time people want to talk about the greatest fighters to ever compete in MMA and/or combat sports.
If you're talking actual goat mma fighter inside and outside the ring. Mighty mouse is the only choice, it's not a debate. If you disagree, you're just wrong.
Fuckin A right. Bones is a roid head woman beater creep, Nurmagomedov buggered off early and ain't coming back, Chael and Bisping are too attached to Dana now, and literally just bullshit all the time. Through it all there is one remaining GOAT contender, the one the only, the mighty!! It's MOUSE. ALL, DAY, LONG!
Glad you watched this as I knew you would. You aren't just an inspiration but I'm also glad you bring more recognition on how the UFC as a business and how they stiffed you.
How successful do you have to be react to a documentary about yourself not once but twice and you’re biggest takeaway wasn’t what life I led or oh I did all that but “ it’s weird that my physique didn’t change from 2012”
this calculated and masterful knockout vs moraes is simply a thing of beauty and watching in super slowmo makes it 10x better, its just art DJ PURE ART.
You are the fucking man you are the greatest of all times. No one tops you Demetrious God bless you and thank you so much for the great fights that you put on you don’t see that what we get to see when we watch you you’re amazing.
I frickin loved that u fought Rodtang. I remember seeing that fight was an actual thing & was like, "Holy shit! This is epic! Genius!". Glad u went to ONE & got the appreciation u deserve.
Why are you not at 500k, sir? TH-cam has, apparently, lost its mind. Love that you found your dad, and love all of your work. Best quote: "Can we all take a minute to look at my traps?" 🤣
Getting out of the UFC is the best thing that ever happened to you DJ, Dana is the don king of mma, except he isn't just doing it to one fighter, he is doing it to all of them. I'm so happy for your success man, it's great to see you thrive! p4p 🐐👑
MM is severely underrated. To me he's one of MMA GOATs. Don't understand why people don't like light divisions, I enjoy watching smaller guys, they are superfast, technical, durable. Maybe it's because I myself was in martial arts for long time, that's why it doesn't matter to me the weight class, I just enjoy the action and MM brings it every time.
Mighty Mouse, I really love watching you mature as professional and as a person; major props to you and your brand. You motivate me to start up my youtube channel bro. Keep pushing.
Was awesome to watch you react to your own career! You are awesome dude a technical genius! For me you always be one of the most complete MMA athletes out there! Cheers!
You're what the sport is all about bro! I like watching your fights and commentary, I love how humble you are, you're an inspiration for me to improve my life and those around me with a positive attitude toward life :)
31:00 i respect dj for going thru the gauntlet after losing, but still, when ur a dominant fighter as u, u kind of deserve and have earned the right for a rematch. But its coo, i respect u even more for it.
DJ aka Mighty Mouse is the definition of MMA. Striking, clench, ground game, submissions. He is the total product and CRUSHED folks. He is MMA. The stand up fighting is great, but the submissions and ground game of DJ along with the stand up was incredible. He was the complete product. GG mate. Killed it. I’ve been MMA reminiscing and man you’re my GOAT. Enjoy retirement. Miss watching you man.

I know you're humble and down-to-earth guy but you are low-key the goat. And should be mentioned any time people want to talk about the greatest fighters to ever compete in MMA and/or combat sports.
He hasn't aged a day
Crazy
Not common at all for fighters
Always bin a fan first time finding your channel this was awesome to see
If you're talking actual goat mma fighter inside and outside the ring.
It's MOUSE.
ALL,
DAY,
LONG!
I'm so happy for your success man, it's great to see you thrive! p4p 🐐👑
Bro , best desition in life? MOOVE TO ONE!
One is the place for real goats
UFC is turning into a WWF
Dj is the goat love this man he’s so humble and honest such a good role model
owyeah this reaction video is golden , the editing and everything ,sound ,everything was just perfect 👌
I had this video saved for later to watch… Glad Mighty Mouse reacted to this to give his personal commentary over it all 💯
I love the synthwave shoutout. Also I loved your appearance in the Gunship video!
So happy to hear you have a great relationship with your father.
And by the way, your laugh is so funny. All the best to you and your family, Champ.
Great news about your dad. So happy for you and your family
I love your dignity, your courage and the genuine goodness that simply oozes out of you. What a great man.
Mighty Mouse, I really love watching you mature as professional and as a person; major props to you and your brand. You motivate me to start up my youtube channel bro. Keep pushing.
Been a fan since the WEC days. Looking forward to watching your next fight circleside, champ!
My admiration for this guy just grows with every vid. Great stuff as always Champ👏
You will forever be in my top 5. I have so much respect for you.
Yea I remember watching that video and it made me respect you even more. One of greatest fighters ever mad respect.
