Looks like a nice little unit - Love the small size!

I bought the XH-2 about two weeks ago as a replacement for their earlier meeter which I stupidly misplaced somewhere in my basement camera cave. I finally got a chance to use it on my GW690III yesterday and operationally, it worked pretty well. I'm still not certain the design needed to be offset to the rear like it was but in use, it really doesn't get in the way.

The deeper design looked weird at first, but again, it doesn't have much of an effect. Thanks for watching 🍻

I have the first version of this meter. It works beautifuly for me. My version doesent stick out so far from the back of the camera when mounted. A plus for me.
The chip set used in almost all these brands wholesales for $2.50.

@@michaelcase8574 Yeah that is the one draw back to the xh-2, doesn’t bother me as much as I thought. Thanks for watching 🍻

    NIce!
I have been thinking about a better solution for my setup when I use my rolleicord III and need a light meter.
I used to bring my DSLR to also act as a light meter but to be honest its too big and heavy, the alternative is to also bring my canon f1n 35mm slr camera and shoot both 35mm and 120 but that's not always something I would like to do!
I also realized that my rolleicord III doesn't have a shoe in the camera body so that is an issue!
I have to be friends with a light meter app on my smartphone as its easy to bring whenever I go!

@@SinaFarhat this would be great on a Rolleicord! A simple 3d printed shoe mounted on the side would work for mounting. Thanks for watching 🍻

Thank you for the video. I'm having so much trouble changing the iso. I changed it accidentally on my light meter but following the instructions can't do it. 🤷

@@mbbno It is so hard! It took me a while to get the right click. It’s a single click then rapidly a second with a hold. Keep practicing and it will come! Thanks for watching 🍻

@@AlexLuyckxPhoto I figured it out. And the directions should be clearer stating that you hold the second button push until you see the arrow point to the iso and ev, respectively, rather than trying to guess how long your button pushes are. (It's difficult to count a half a second. I even pulled out a stopwatch).

Great video. I bought that small light meter and it never worked properly-total waste of money. Thank you. RS

@@richardsimms251 The XH-2 or one of the first models or another brand completely? Thanks for watching and I’m sorry that the one you got was a lemon 🍻
