I don't understand what happened with Headswim, I got Flood and the Tense moments EP when is was a teenager and I absolutely loved them, they mixed classic rock 60s psychedelia with 90s grunge with elements of dance music, they were like potentially this incredible crossover band that seemed so cool, then the next thing I knew they were on TFI friday and had turned into another band trying to be Radiohead and U2.
Fast forward to 2022! Well who could imagine they would be utterly awesome last night they hit the stage for the first time in london after 23 years playing in full their nu grunge beast of an album “flood” in full to celebrate its reissue ? mental ! 🤘🔥🔥
Ah yeah now I remember! Headswim covered that classic yet obscure Soundgarden 7" 'I came late to the game again and saw this band on top of the pops that my mates at the office might give me some kudos for edgy points'. Sells for $ on Discogs too.
