A master of his caliber can not be daunted by any disease. They are divine souls above all worldly problems.
Shiv-Hari-Ghate make always make an intoxicating cocktail that one can drink from dusk to dawn. Without straying from the parameters of the raga some improvisations and gimmicks r exciting too.
However Yaman is a reflective expansive also immersive raga with great depth. Those qualities r lost in showmanship which I believe is also necessary to keep shastriya sangeet alive with present generation.
Both r highly contemplative and introspective musicians peerless and have regaled us for decades with the very best that our music has to offer.
This piece is one of those.🙏🙏🙏
Debabrata Ghosh the gimmicks also don’t sound like gimmicks when those great souls are playing with such intensity! It was simply sublime and divine......beyond words! I bow at their feet for their Vidya and Vinay .....

I do not know how much to admire them shivasankar was playing an instrument which gave heart touching notes. I wish I was there.
I do not know why we admire western jazz though it has its value N look at the vigor of flute player and oh nonstop tabla player.
I noticed that flower decoration was short, if so we have beautiful saris and it will give Indian look. My pranam to all the three

What a modern perception of the Aalaap, aptly and gradually woven into the leads. Never heard the Baayan do all the work and not hearing the ta or na for 10 minutes. No chakkardar or any Tihais at the opening, Such a treat. Hats off to panditji to play so masterly even at this age.
What an unbelievable rendition on Bayan.. Pranams to all 3 maestros...
Just captivate all our attention nowheres we need to go and can't escapes, only in the music, drives us into the land of paradise within.

God has made such beautiful notes and instruments, such beautiful vibes flow from them that they take you to the heavens, this Raag is also marvelous and one of my Favorites, on the top of all this the 3 of them played in such a nice way that I found myself in heaven sitting at home, I cannot find any words to appreciate the three of them.

When I listened to this I had been admiring, floating on the waves of music and been carried away wlth wings of my imagination... And among many other thoughts this one came on my mind: "How I regreat I haven't been there, among that audience!". So intersecting, so much of listening to each other ... We have a lot to learn from this great masters...
Guru Pt. Bholanath ji Prasanna has taught hari babu (guruji called him by nick name Hariya) every finer aspect of Allahabad and Banaras Gharana ....Soul of Pt Bholanathji Prasanna can be felt by his disciples and near and dear in this album.... And fortified with Shiv bhai's Santoor..... Bas phir aap kahan pahunchte hain you will also not know...
Simply DIVINE, takes me to another wonderful, peaceful Environment
