I feel like Teague has the potential to have the best nba player podcasts cause he is like the most relatable nba player ever lol idk I'd that makes sense but I love the content thus far and have been telling the hommies to check it out
I fell like he is comfortable with who he is so it comes across in his convos he can admit the real from telling every story that makes him come out on top
Some of his funniest stories are about him getting cooked, jeff has no problem with laughing at himself and i feel like thats an undervalued trait
facts this podcast is fye
Cap
Right teague cool but his co host trash
“I was a all star in 2015” 😂😂😂 they better act like they know
So was Kyle korver tho 😂
They was all stars because of their record. Cavs destroyed em in the playoffs
I don't even remember that 🤣
@@OGTH-camR187nah, that team was legitimately good. LeBron just LeBron that year.
Trillsap, Horford, Korver, Gallonari, League, Pero Antic. Some cold dudes on that roster.
@@vegan4life660Kyle Korver was cold ash
Jeff Teague in 2k16 could yack it on anyone in the game😂😂
Had the funnest time playing blacktop with him👌🏽
No Lies Detected
They always gave him fire dunk layup package and his jumper was fye good size up too. Reminds me of Jarret Jack, one of them players who always cold on 2k regardless of stats
i remember back in high school it's a well known park in metro ATL that all the best hoopers used to go to, one day we pull up with our 5 and Lou was there. At the time he was the #1 player in the nation. My squad was up and i tell em i want Lou, no help D. That lasted all of 2 plays. The most humbling experience in my basketball career by far.
bruh use to fuck us up without breaking a sweat and we were some of the best hoopers in the city
I saw Lou will play at lucky shoals when I was like 13/14 and I knew nba players was different from dudes who could just hoop
Was it at friendship? I used to run with him a bit from there to center court, even Lenoir church a couple of times. Couldn’t get him to go to run n shoot. That dude was born to get a bucket. 2000’s Atalanta streetball was where it was at.
@@justinartis7698facts. IQ is everything. And some were just athletically on another level.
nah really. IT felt like it was always somewhere to hoop. miss run n shoot @@shaunmadison99
my favourite 6th man was Jamal Crawford, so much style
Came here to say we just gonna forget about Jamal Crawford ? I still bust his moves out to this day .
Nobody forgot
What about Ginóbili?
@@antoinjohnson4146 both these players had a way better game then Lou no disrespect
mine was Manu, he was insane
Lou Will daughter play AAU, and they came to Pensacola. Me and my son saw him at the Go-Karts spot...he was just a like a regular kool dude...took a picture with my jitt, and just chopped it up with us...respect
I use to train at a gym called ASA in Atlanta and Lou would come in and have private workouts from time to time. I remember watching him for about a hour 1/2 and didn’t see him miss a shot and I’m not exaggerating
Hell yea, used to play in the leagues up there sometimes to
I miss ASA & Hoop n fitness. Good times fasho.
Jeff Teague look like a 1st form Kawhi that’s getting ready to evolve in Kawhi Leonard.
I can't imagine being a celebrity of any sort and people get to just write funny ass shit like this and you gotta just eat it 😂
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Charmander type vibe
😂😭😭😭😂😭😭 yooooo i’m crying
🤣🤣🤣🤣
It’s definitely Manu imo, he has the most impact playoff moments of any 6th man
Thats the whole point of what they're saying. He wasn't really a 6th man cause he was in the closing moments and played starter minutes. Same with Harden. Dude was playing 30 minutes a game off the bench.
He definitely was a sixth man. He came off the bench his rookie season, backing up Stephen Jackson, in '03, backed up Michael Finley in '07, and backed up Danny Green in 2014. He literally started 0 games in three of his four championship playoff runs.
Manu was like if the Lakers were bringing Kobe off the bench, not saying Manu is just as good as Kobe, but Manu probably the second best 2guard in the NBA after Kobe during his entire career. He's obviously the best 6th man of all time, but really it's because he had no business coming off the bench based on his skill and production. It was just a quirk of the way the San Antonio was built that put him in that role.
@@gamble777888That’s disrespect to Wade and AI. I would never put Ginoboli over those two
@@MichaelMcCloud29 "During his entire career" my guy 💀
But I would still put wade over ginobili
This is like the basketball version of the “Raw Room” with Darren abates, because he’s not a “star” but was a solid respectable player with the greatest stories and commentary on his own ish as far as what actually happened and what he was really thinking 😂😂
Good comparasion i fuck with both, ESPN and media must hate this, cause i been stopped watching any major media sports like 10 years ago, these are much better
Jeff Teague was that though
That 🥷 Brady said hold my beer 😂😂😂
Teague was a lot better than DB though lol. No disrespect to DB!
Anytime, a kid at least 14 and over doesn’t know a former All-Star within the past 20-30 years. I have to assume they don’t love the game or they’re just not fans of the game at all when I was a little kid I was playing the video games, googling players googling player stats and googling player videos so I knew about them because I love the game, this generation has no excuse. It’s kind of whack. Jef‘s students didn’t even Know if he was good or not. If I know I’m going to go play for a coach who I’ve heard played in the NBA, if that was me today,2023, I’m going to go look up his stats, videos etc especially if he just won a chip with the bucks.
Man i didnt even watch cartoons just sports. Know every school every player went too. These kids just like what comes with playing basketball
Facts literally googling players from finding them out off the game lol
Sounds like you're more of a student of the game. Most don't want to study and explore the past nor put the time, effort, and respect towards basketball history.
@@onigiri2136I mean some kids just wanna play the game cuz it’s fun and hang out with friends nobody wanna take a history class on the game of basketball
Printing off stat sheets blasé blasé love of the game
Poole being compared to Harden is crazy
JJ Redick is so informative and articulate but Jeff Teague is pure entertainment, love them both though
And pg is somewhere in between
jj impossible to digest, dude talks about basketball like he got a gun to his head
JJ is an espn clown.
Bruh jj redick don’t know shit
As podcasters, yeah. But as experience, Teague is a Champion and an All Star.
“I was an all-star in ‘15!” I’m screaming 😂😂😂😂😂
Lou Will benefited from having Allen Iverson as a vet when he came into the league, Chuck took him under his wing and he put that work in. I agree that vets help alot with the maturation of a player
100 percent man man look at CP3 and SGA
the content is getting better and better. The short clips are where its at.
Yeah because they be all over the place
Short clips over whole conversation?
Lou Williams is so good at his role, he was probably the best player in that young lakers squad before Lebron showed up. He was getting 30 off the bench regularly.
I used to kill with Teague and Lou on 2k. I need Iman as a guest that would be too hard
Na Teague was OD on 2k15.
2k11 hawks joe Johnson jeff Teague josh smith Lou will al horford Kyle korver
Jeff you be having me rolling bro. I can’t get enough of your stories. Good shit
Love Lou Will. He’s a hopper. Manu is the best 6th man in history though lol
played with Tim Duncan, HOF 😮💨 the hood won’t give Nobli credit over 2 girl Lou Will
Crawford better
Your right but Teague is right manu was really a starter but pop made him one of the 6th men and Manu always closed the games
@Crowndone89then you not from San Antonio lmao
@Crowndone89 just like he had way more help than USA when he won gold for Spain at the Olympics 🫤
Harden was an elite scorer and passer he was a beast in his prime
Jamal Crawford on the clippers needs his flowers. That guy was a monster coming off the bench.
It was already established that Lou was cold but I remember Josh Smith threw him a Alley and I was thinking wtf Josh doing then Lou bammed it with two hands 🔥🔥🔥🔥
he was jumping out the gym in high school
@@emperorlivion I knew he was a bucket but I didn’t know about the bunnies
@jarvaroushill2714 he was different foreal...jumper was smooth as hell...quick as hell. Dropped 50 on my high school as a freshman. My school was defending champions
@@emperorlivion yea his game was smooth and in control and everybody knew he wanted to get that med range jumper but still couldn’t stop it, n scoring 50 in a high school game is crazy
@@jarvaroushill2714 very
Lou Williams would go against my boys AAU team back in the hood in GA. Ironically, name Will Lewis lol(foreal), but they use to go at it but Lou always balled out..crazy respect..plus he from the home state
That’s a tough one between Lou Will vs Jamal Crawford. If you check their states they’re eerily similar. They both had It factors. Hard to choose
Boomin’ out south Gwinnett like I’m Lou will.
The poole talk didn't age well
Jeff Teague shaped like Humpty Dumpty or the Sonic boss.
I honestly sometimes forget Lou will played for the hawks lol. I remember him more vividly with the raptors, clippers, lakers and 76ers.
Played for the Hawks on two different stints.. and he’s from ATL so that’s the only way I remember him!
@@Drewcat07 I def remember him being from Gwinnett but those 2 years in atl slip my memory for whatever reason. Maybe because when they won 60 games (the hawks) he wasn’t there. Plus his 3 sixth man of the year awards he got elsewhere
Lou was so underrated dawg the boy can straight up hoop!
Love this convo. Try mounting the mics to the back end of the arm where the the leather strap connects. It won't move as much
Lou Williams and Jamal Crawford both on lob city at the same time and didn’t help win a championship. Manu won 4 plus a gold he’s the best 6th man
Lou Williams wasn’t on the lob city team
He's not the reason the spurs won 4
Manu wasnt a true 6th man either
You sound stupid d*ckhead manu had tim duncon and tony parker 2 hall of famers Blake and DeAndre Jordan not a hall famer
Stop it
Lou Williams had a mysterious personality but was so talented
I only watch to podcast joe budden and this one always respected Jeff Teague game true hooper
“Nigga I was a all star in 15” is crazy 😂😂😂
“I promise we tried” -lou will😭🖤
I IUST WANNA SAY SORRY TO YOU MR TEAGUE FOR MY UNDERRATED THOUGHTS OF YOUR CAREER. THANK YOU FOR THIS PODCAST. LOVE FROM NIGERIA
Ppl forget how Cold Jason Terry was. Nigga gave lebron, kd/Westbrook and Brandon Roy the work. He also finished 5th all time in 6 point makes
Jet was a good sixth man role player probably one of the best versions/examples of that kind of player, he wasn’t a Lou Will or Jamal Crawford though, you couldn’t run offense through him like you could them…
@@_truthBtold he was great in pick and roles with dirk. He was good in the playoffs unlike the other two
When I grew up and played different sports my coaches taught me life lessons and the history of the game and players i never herd were it got me looking up guys like Andre Reid Irving fryar John Taylor guys that weren’t brought up a lot during conversation this was the mid 90’s.
Rasheed Wallace was a crazy 6th man back in the day…Jamal Crawford would probably be my #1 tho
This podcast killing rn 💯
He played with the two best 6th men of all time. Lou and Jamal Crawford
Man this podcast is COLD. Keep it going fellas
the way ending cut out is comedy
I’ve never met any other nba player but I’ve met Lou will and it was at the fair, i was with my fam and he was with his and he still took the time to stop and take a pic
I don’t get how I’m only 24 and I remember wanting to watch older hoopers and nfl players and know the history as kid, on TH-cam watching old highlights. Why has does this younger generation not do that like the 100s have done before? What changed
I remember being a ball boy at Savannah high and they would play Lou Will in the playoffs and he was unstoppable when they had played against Beach high school.
Jr smith was a cold 6 man
i get what dude was saying with Harden being best 6th man ever - probably the best player to ever play that role. how many MVPs came off the bench early in their career lol
They both interpreted what a 6th man is differently.
Jokic
KOBE 💜 💛
Umm he wasn’t a 6th man the majority of his career so that doesn’t qualify.
Lou Will, you're favourite hoopers favourite hooper!
Who would’ve thought quiet ass Jeff Teague had so much to say? He should have talked more in the league, he’s so great!
I remember watching Lou And Monte Ellis go against each other in Highschool. It was crazy to see highschool kids have tat much popularity
Manu!!! Man's career runs circles around any 6th man and got rings doing so
Perfect way to end the video. Earn a subscriber with that one!
How Josh Selby didn't sign a max five-year for a team like Sacramento Kings is crazy - Kidd.
Man did he even get any tick in the actual league ???
Ima tell u this… as a fellow player from the class of 2005… thank god i was on the adidas circuit and never had to play the Georgia Stars… Lou Will and Mike Mercer 😳😳😳
Mike Mercer was cold before the injuries man
@@pboogity8309 neck and neck with lou if u ask me!
Poole is a great player but he's not cut out to be guarded by the best defender every night and still put up big numbers with basically only Kuz getting attention on a nightly basis
You don’t know that
jeff has the greatest inflections
Ginobili waa definitely a 6th Man. He backed up Stephen Jackson in the 2003 title, his rookie season, and off the bench in '07 and 2014.
Jeff look like kermit from Paid in Full. lol On some real, your sense humor is incredible.
Kermit😭😭😭
James harden has a higher IQ... made the transition easier because he made the right decisions as a ball handler more times than not... jordan has to show me a lil more as a facilitator
Lou from down south. Memphis specifically if I'm not mistaken. Almost all Memphians in the league have the rep of being cool, outgoing, and hard working. Will Barton. Thad! I think it may be cause it takes A LOT to ascend from here (like it does in any poor environment)
I think he's from Atlanta
he def from Atlanta
@@kayujay Moved to Atlanta at 11.
Sacramento has Harrison Barnes there’s respect on his name as a vet
People need to stop acting like if someone is a “bucket” that means they’re the best basketball player. Manu affected winning WAY more than Jamal or Lou ever did. Manus is the goat hands down.
Ppl not knowing about Jeff Teague is crazy
Put Jeff name in the name of the pod to make it easier to find. Been seeing clips from this show for months and this my first time on the actual channel
Sefalosha started over James harden
and Bowen started over ginobli bkuz of his defense. Very underrated defender
He gone be a top 4 scorer in league watch !!!!!!
“niggas was outside” collective “yeah” 😂
Impossible to compare to great players from different eras. Lou Williams or Kevin McHale? Both six men, both great scorers, both legendary players. I’ll take them both.
McHale easy.
For me the bests Jamal Crawford and Lou Williams
Manu, Jr smith, lou will, jamal crawford the list goes on
Teague words on Poole coming true lol bruh looking real 🗑️
Saturday morning uploads would be fire 🔥🔥🔥
Lou Williams been making shoes low key too I found some on amazon. I bought some. They comfortable
The difference in James harden and pool is harden went to the rockets and instantly filled the star role like he was never a 6th Man. Pool has not done the same thing sense leaving golden state and you can most likely say the wizards don’t even want him as the main guy anymore.
That’s why hoopers should give some respect to people who didn’t play because I know who everyone is lol😂 top 75 players in the world for 4-5 years is incredible in any profession
Teague had the take on poole that aged the best.
Lemon pepper Lou goes crazy ong
Best podcast
$100ms and just got benched…as DMV native and ticket holder Poole was NOT the answer. Teague called it as the #1 option it’s a lot more spooky than people realize.
Black forces with white laces is insane 😂
Lou Will is the Underground GOAT 🐐.
Conversations like this remind me of Teague (WHO PLAYED) versus dude who did NOT play. Not saying he can’t have input , but some shit like best 6th man ever? Huh 😂
I consider Manu ginobli one of the greatest 6th mans and ya some can argue he started at times but generally he was the 6th man and coulda been a starter elsewhere his whole career.
The best version of JP was when he was on the Warriors , he will have absolutely NO reminisce of James Harden in HOU.
He’ll score the ball at a decent clip but it will be extremely inefficient & ineffective overall.
Bruh super young and you havent seen him as even a 2nd option yet.
@@nimbus9954he'll be the first option
Lmao how can you say that when we haven’t even seen 5 years of him
@@titans360ify it’s only a prediction my brotha , Also my opinion . I don’t “Know” for certain.

i ain’t even grow up watching BD and i cant believe kids don’t know who he is like that anymore
Manu all day.
Subscribed just cause of my boy Teague
Manu enters the chat
More short storytime clips 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Exactly, thabo came right out every time I played with okc on 2k, James was supposed to start
black forces with white laces seems devious
isnt it funny how you you can be the 0.0001% of the population that makes it to the NBA, and if you're not one of like..... 40 names, no one will know who you were within 10 years of retirement. Some will, but most kids born in 2007 have no reason to search "Baron Davis Highlights" and these are kids who are IN basketball culture. Nevermind your average person walking down the street born in 2007 and baron was cold as hell. its a crazy world.
I loved Lou Will when he was a Laker
The best six men was from back in the day, Vinnie Microwave Johnson and/or Andrew Toney.
Toney was great (but not a 6th man).
Vinnie Johnson was good
This niggga Teague too humble he act like he wasn’t a bucket lol
Top3 6th man
1. Lou Will
2. Ginobli
3. Toni Kukoc
