    The whole idea seems great for subverting expectations and making the mundane start of the adventure exciting.
    "You are all recuperating inside a local tavern after a hard day's adventuring. The barkeep sits behind the bar, polishing his mugs, the tavern wench trips over a careless drunkard's foot and nearly spills her drink, and the roaring fire of the hearth crackles gently in the background. What would you like to do?"
    "I grab a beer from the counter and rush outside before the barkeep can stop me." *Nat 20*
    "You deftly swipe the beer from the counter and, without spilling a drop, make your way out the door of the tavern...
    ...You are all recuperating inside a local tavern after a hard day's adventuring. The barkeep sits-..."
    "Wait, what?"
    "...-behind the bar, polishing his mugs, the tavern wench trips over a careless drunkard's foot and nearly spills her drink, and the roaring fire of the hearth crackles gently in the background. What would you like to do?"
    Just a light dusting of horror by trapping them in a loop. It also helps that whenever they die or waste important items, they can simply reset the loop by stepping outside the tavern to try to do it right the next time and until they figure out what's trapping them there, they and the residents of the tavern are stuck.
    You could even still reward them with experience since they themselves won't forget what they did.
    I rushed the example of a rogue speeding out the door for emphasis, but in a lot of cases the party gets together, talks to each other to get to know each other and socializes with people to find their first breadcrumb quest, so they wouldn't even know it's happening until a ways into the session when they attempted to leave. I'd personally be enthralled by it. It's just something different and unexpected.

      That does sound really cool and fun! I like that idea of groundhog daying it into a loop. You’re quite the clever guy!

      Thanks. I didn't come up with using the spinning wheel and such to play it, but I'm quite proud of my silly only Tavern idea lol

      Thank you. But I can’t take credit for the dice wheel. I saw it from magic the Noah. If you’ve never seen his videos and enjoyed this. I’d highly recommend you check him out

      Im glad you enjoyed it! I saw magic the Noah’s videos and it looked like a lot of fun (and it is) so I went ahead and drew some monsters, player tokens and came up with some unique ideas I never seen anyone else do. Like players being stuck in the tavern lol

    This is too close to Magic The Noah, from intro to all google docs / spin wheel UI.
    If not this high plagiarizing level, would have been pretty entertaining. :(

      @MehGaGames  2 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      So it wasn’t entertaining cuz I used the same tools to run the game? My own art and ideas don’t make it different enough for ya?

      By this logic, anyone playing DnD using 5th edition rules are all running the same plagiarized story? He took the concept of “slide show DnD” and made his own story from it. This content is 99% his own.
