@@darkzero7969 95% of people, nice "statistics" you got there. i gueess i was wrong. lma still the worst in the modern battlefields. even hardline was better.
BFV nails weapon sounds, reloads, magazine capacities, extended magazine compatibilities, and to some extent, fire rates, than COD WW2. Like how the Karabin in BFV is portrayed as a non detachable 10 rounder, which is legit, but in COD it was detachable. It's also how funny how COD's Thompson is called an M1928 when it's actually an M1A1, whereas BF actually used an M1928A1 Thompson with the correct drum capability.
It's a 50/50 honestly. Some fire-rates in Battlefield are very wrong too. The BAR fires insanely fast, like twice as fast as it could. The Type 2A also fires twice as fast as it did in real-life. It only fired at ~650 RPM, which the Call of Duty one is much closer to that. The rocket launcher reloads are wrong in both, forgetting to connect the rocket to the electric connector on the launcher. The mag size of the Type 97 LMG is also wrong in V. Some textures also look better and more like war-era stamped metal in Call of Duty, like the Volksturmgewehr. I think the wood also looks better on most rifles in Call of Duty. Some of the weapon models in Battlefield V like the M1928A1 and FG42 are also comically oversized. I've never seen a Thompson so fat and wide as Battlefield V portays it. Even if it's an M1A1, the Thompson in Call of Duty looks so much better and more like the real thing. You also don't need to pull the bolt back a Thompson. The bolt automatically goes back into place when you pull the trigger, which only Call of Duty shows correctly. I've also never seen an FG42 THAT big like in Battlefield V. It's almost as big as an MG42, it's like a 12 year-old child is holding it. The FG42 is pretty compact since it's a Battle rifle. The bolt on the StG 44 is also frightingly small compared to the real thing, and the M1A1 and M2 carbines are post-war models from the 1950s. Battlefield V also messes up really bad by having the Panzerfaust being held on the shoulder, which makes operating the weapon literally impossible, since it fires in an arc like the PIAT. You're supposed to hold in under your shoulder like a rifle. While Call of Duty calls an M1A1 a M1928, Battlefield makes the same mistake by calling the Type 1 in-game the Type 2A. The Type 2 in Call of Duty is an _actual_ Type 2. Battlefield messes up plenty of weapon names too. It seems that a lot that Call of Duty got wrong Battlefield got wrong too.
Yeah, BFV is horrifically inaccurate on so many things in general but at least the weapons are well animated and the animator/s clearly put effort in to it, meanwhile COD WW2 at least feels like WW2 buts it’s guns are so awful in terms of sound and how they function (like their fire rate and their reload animations) and it just feels like the animators for this game were just lazy or it was just rushed
I like how that for all their accuracy in reload animations, BF still gets the M1 Garand wrong, by ejecting the bullets mid clip like that. Yes, the catch release on the side allows you to release the clip, but at the speed he reloads, that's clearly not what he's doing. He just pulls the rod all the way to the rear and the clip flies out.
It needs to pull all the way back to lock it open tho. One thing BF did got wrong is reloading when there's 1 round left, in game the round is still contained in the clip, but irl it would be ejected first, then the empty clip would fly out.
I like realism just as much as the other guy, but this is bullshit nitpicking. Just as the one with the "soldiers were trained to operate handguns single handedly in WW2". I know that was the standard procedure, but the way it is represented doesn't make it non plausible.
When you're wearing headphones or listening in speakers, COD WWII gun sounds generate more bass than Battlefield V, but COD WWII lacks echo and crisp sound making it kinda unsatisfying
Graphics aside. I think WW2 has Better Reload Animations while Battlefield has the Best Sound design. ....even though that's always been that way since the old COD vs BF games so. Until the New MW finally changed the Sound Design which is now on par with BF games.
That detachable mag for the Arisaka and Karibin hurts me along with cod's insistence on loading rifles with stripper clips when there isn't room. Oh I fired 3 rounds from my 10 round capacity Lee Enfield let's load a 5 round stripper clip. That always bugs me.
I do prefer BFV's weapons since they do give a more natural firing sound and reloads fit the weapons perfectly. COD WW2 is just someone playing with metal pipes and bolts. But both kinda lack in loud banging when firing as it is like as if the players had noise filter headsets.
It's not a matter of being experts, it's just common sense. I mean, the MG42 is one of the fastest firing machinegun of WW2, everybody knows that. Yet for some reason COD did, well, that thing.
Although BFV floored CoD with this one I do appreciate CoD WW2 for having different animations for all of the guns. They didn't reuse as much as the others.
@@91tears94 are ya stupid? I'm saing that it's realistic enough for a cod what do you not understand?! You know what I'm not gonna argue with an idiot on internet......have good day
Both games have good animations, though BF5 has more good ones than WW2. Where BF5 really wins is sound design. All the reload sounds in WW2 are like the same two tin cans being banged into each other.
I’m not sure but I thinks it’s because the shooter can rest his elbow on his knee when crouching and shooting. There might be some other reason that I’m missing though.
I just like how in BFV the appearance of the M1 carbine is the paratrooper variant while COD is the regular "factory" version and for the M2 they again switched it up making BFV the "factory" version while COD was the paratrooper variant
Alright if you guys think the Thompson reload from COD WW2 is wrong it's a yes and no, yes it is an Open bolt weapon but people complain about not pulling the bolt after switching to a fresh full magazine and people defend it for being an open bolt but you have to have the most powerful awareness and memory to memorize how many shots you fired in real combat while in full automatic and other gunshots all around you so yeah in conclusion: You gotta have the most powerful awareness to know your magazine is empty and the bolt hasn't been closed yet otherwise it'll be impossible to notice it while you're in real combat and I think they've done this because for balancing reasons and I can see that but the rate of fire of the MG42 is just pure disgusting they should've lowered the damage and keep its 1200-1500 RPM in place
After codmw19, I thought we were getting a cod comeback. Then warzone came and it was just kinda there... The guns and sounds were enough realistic for a cod game, but the movement just reminds me about that black ops nightmare. If only the movement and animations were slowed down and cod will feel like a semi-semi milsim game.
The dev's over at Dice may have made alot of bad decisions with BF5 but the weapons design and audio are top. The M1 Grand color just pops on it, the B.A.R fires with authority! John Browning would rise from the grave and choke the audio lead at Sledgehammer if he could here what they used for their B.A.R.
Well at least COD WW2's campaign still feels like ww2, BFV's campaign feels like a 12 year old SJW's interpretation of WW2, with the exception of the Last tiger. Don't get me wrong they're both mediocre at best but COD is just a bit better. I'm not a COD fanboy but I gotta give credit where it's due.

Battlefield
I still say you need to do a Battlefield 1 vs Tannenberg weapon comparison
I like how that for all their accuracy in reload animations, BF still gets the M1 Garand wrong, by ejecting the bullets mid clip like that. Yes, the catch release on the side allows you to release the clip, but at the speed he reloads, that's clearly not what he's doing. He just pulls the rod all the way to the rear and the clip flies out.
It needs to pull all the way back to lock it open tho. One thing BF did got wrong is reloading when there's 1 round left, in game the round is still contained in the clip, but irl it would be ejected first, then the empty clip would fly out.
@Some guys and their games Yeah it should be the main thumb tho, to reserve the ammo.
Also the iron sight is too big and too thin

COD WW2 is just someone playing with metal pipes and bolts.
But both kinda lack in loud banging when firing as it is like as if the players had noise filter headsets.
It is amazing how people in this comment section is ww2 gun expert just because they play games and watched couple of ww2 videos
