@@All4Overland yeah I agree! We camped with him and his wife up in the lakes a month ago so I got to see it in person, unfortunately that was when my gearbox gave up so couldn’t join them for a few lanes
Hi miklawson....the weather was brilliant but we got hit by one rainstorm saturday night but as we are all seasoned campers we just laughed it off and drank more beer lol,,
Hi Paul....there is no point in putting this much time and effort into building something if you are not gonna use it...they should not just be ornaments..
@@All4Overland Yep. I had a quite expensively modified motorbike for track use and people said I must really take care of it. When I told them no I absolutely abuse it they seemed a little shocked. I spent the time and money to make it faster, not just so it looked fast.
@@All4Overland it’s what it’s all about. I’m watching vids like yours to give me the kick up the backside to get my shogun sorted the gearbox threw a tantrum on our way to the bush craft show 😭 so had to get recovered home. Bloody gutted
Ahhh thats a blow breaking down on the way to a show...i didn't actually make it to the bushcraft show this year..hope you get your truck fixed and i am really glad you get inspiration from our videos mate..
Nice open camping area, and appears to be fairly flat (no vehicle leveling needed?). Does everyone bring their own restroom facilities, or was there a event-style Porta-Jon available? Looked to be a sturdy breakfast being cooked. Trying to imagine what lamb bacon tastes like. Locally (Kentucky, US) there is bbq made with mutton, which is pretty good.
Hi retnav...the field was pretty much dead flat so we didn't have to level anythng which is always a bonus...the site had composting toilets dotted around so didnt have to use the ones we carry in the trucks...and the lamb bacon is quite an acquired taste..
Nice one Paul! And awesome to see josh on the channel! It’s a cracking build with the pop top
Hi Mate...Josh's build is cracking for the first time he has ever built anything like that and its always nice to feature someone elses hard work..

Great vid. Nice to see these vehicles getting used for what they were built for. Go anywhere, survive, get back home.

Nice area.
The Raven, in Farndon, used to be where I made a quick pitstop while walking my dog many years ago.
Hi Sicrewe..the campsite is right next to Holt on the other side of the river...must go back and have a look round next time..
