The Yousuf kid is spectacular. His movement is so crisp, punches have spring and power in them, he’s strong and difficult to control, dominant going forward or backwards. What a performance. The other guy is getting hurt going forward, he strikes me as the Tony Ferguson type, too hard for his own good.

what a fight. and sadiq is a very likeable dude.
There’s one boxing technique I haven’t seen mix martial artist use yet and I think it would be excellent technique when applied correctly which even most boxers can’t do! It requires a very relaxed whip like lead hand which strikes open with the back of the hand striking the target! It’s use is not to knock out the opponent it to bust them up and create other opening plus defensively to create space if one is flat footed it will be less effective! When mixed with other jabs, feints, and power strikes it’s a great addition to the arsenal!

this could have been a main event, these guys are not gonna be in the prelims very long, Davis 100% should get a contract, yousef did not have an easy ride there, he showed heart and class to get the win, but Davis is a force to be reckoned with.

Facts these new warriors are gonna be PROBLEM. A lot are starting to have a base in wrestling, then some striking and then they specialize in what they like. Perfect example is Mr. Toupiria. Dude started as a wrestler but his striking is boxing heavy. Very well rounded and a solid fighter. I’m telling yall if you’re trynna be a MMA fighter you gotta be a wrestler first and then a striker.
