I've seen this several times and it still thrills and moves to tears each time. Especially the bit that we can't undo our past, but we can strive to be better, that's a lesson everyone needs. Also love Astarion having to jump in to say your not a monster, you can feel how after his last two hundred years he doesn't know how to say it but wants you to understand it, with the added subtext that if you're not a monster and have saved him then he's not a monster either. Tbh, when I saw the title all I could hear was Astarion (or maybe Gale) going "Who's a good dark urge? Who's a good dark urge? Are you a good dark urge? Yes you are, Yes you are!" I don't even have a dog.
