I am amazed how much stuff your thrift store has!! Incredible 🎉 Most everything in the Philly suburbs is junky! Suggestion I would paint edges of damaged angel flower with shimmer sparkle paint.
I had the entire set of Lenox "Spice Village" cannisters/spice jars with wooden display/a couple of planters and a few other pieces., which I then gave away probably 10 years ago when nobody wanted them. I think I still have the planters. Oh well.
Youve got to stick with what you feel comfortable shipping... unless its super cheap but sold high and you can take the hit if broken in shipping. Ive seen how some handle pakages and I cringe!!

I visited there from AZ hoping to run into you. Alas, I did not. But I did pick up the same hobbyist mother and child that you did and I got to chat with some nice flippers who shop there for their booths!
I still have my Caboodles case. They held up rather well. Different color (pink & turquoise) than the one you bought, but same interior. Boy, am I aging myself 😊🙃
Years ago people cooked and took advantage of modern appliances like a dishwasher that may have been new to them.They had no idea their everyday cookware and serving pieces would be worth big money some day. So I don't consider Pyrex like this "killed". I consider it used, loved for the reason it was made. You are not the only reseller who badmouths pyrex that didn't survive a dishwasher. I am not trying to disrespectful or mean at all. But this stuff was made for a reason and it was used for that reason.
I could be mistaken but did Pyrex come with a dishwasher disclaimer? Did anyone read the inserts to the colorful Pyrex bowl sets back then to not to put them in a dishwasher? I didn't know about it until fairly recently. lol Good picks on this trip yay!
Back when the original sets came out I'm guessing a lot of people didn't have dishwashers, everything done by hand. My mom didn't get one until mid 80's long after I left home.
@@GiselaBise I'm sure that was the case. And then when dishwashers were used on a regular basis pyrex was put in there with everything else. I don't like it when resellers consider pyrex like this "killed". It was used for the purpose it was made.
I don't appreciate the comments about the not so precious moments.. I'm sorry I luv you but I don't think you would color over the Mona Lisa... Nor should you color over dam butcher's creations... If you know his story and why he began creating the precious moments series and the fact that each precious moments character is a real life person it's kind cruel.

I guess we're all entitled to our own opinions yet I believe it's an injustice to creator of an awesome human being who brought a lot of joy to others through his creativity after mourning the loss of his beloved son. Therefore for all you to say ...not so precious moments is so unjust and unkind.
