Gaurda Purana mentions that Brahma ji is everywhere listening to what humans are saying. but nowhere is it mentioned that you're not allowed to wear short clothes. there are many exceptions in bhakti and a lot of rules. and you'll realise them when you continue your spiritual journey. so don't give up, and serve Harihara for that is the sole purpose of a human being❤

As you mentioned those 4 principles and other devotional practices as well.We should focus on what feels right to us and aligns with our own principles. You have to change your mentality, that's all" Let's take another conversation from 1974 paris where jyothirmayi(French) tells prabhupad, "why are we dressing like Indians". Prabhupad answers "I Have not said you dress like that, Did I tell you to do It? We are not concerned with the dress. We are concerned with the advancement of spiritual understanding that's all" In Melbourne 1971, someone tells prabhupad, don't you think your dress alienates people? To which prabhupad responds "oh dress? That's not important, you wear your western clothes, the important thing is that you become krishna conscious" Verse from bhagavatam (10.4.3) sthane-sthitah, which means to remain In the same established social position as you currently are, if you're a student you stay a student, Just hear about lord 🦚 and add lord Krishna 🦚 to your life, no mention about changing the dress code there. In 1977 prabhupad when prabhupad defined "grihastha dress", he was not defining it as kurta and dhoti, he defined It as a nice coat and pant as a gentleman, in short Prabhupad advised them to stay In thier up-to-date clean clothes with tilaka and sikha. So In conclusion we can dress however we want, to spread krishna consciousness and to practice Krishna consciousness. No questions, no doubt just come as you are and surrender to the lord !🙏 So the implications about dress code is Ludacris and outrageous cuz you always wore a wonderful Gopi dress, saree or traditional dress to ISKCON temple, you always maintained the decorum and decency while performing prayers 🙏 and devotional activities. The only time you might wear Western may be for malls or other casual events or maybe in your home during the summer. It doesn't make sense to say the women who wear sarees are slightly more pious and will get less karmic reaction or diminished If they commit atrocious activities compared to western women who don't wear sarees but do good deeds. In srimad bhagavatam verse 2.9.34, "O Brahma whatever appears to be of any value, if it is without relation to me, has no reality. The things that are used In relation to lord Krishna are objects belonging directly to the transcendental realm" Dress and clothes are a neutral item and depending on how one uses them, In relation with the lord, For example If one is wearing Western clean cloths to preach krishna consciousness, to speak about krishna to honour krishna, to offer food to ones deities and other devotional activities, those cloths by definition must be devotional cloths cuz one Is using them In Krishna's service. Dress Is not as non essential as hearing and chanting lord Krishna🦚 which is the most Important thing! You need to strictly follow the principles of bhakti but dress nonetheless as everyone dresses In the rest of the society as per the weather or occasion Is purely their choice and no one has any right to tell otherwise. Lord Krishna 🦚 as Protector of Women would never Impose or restrict women to wear any sort of dress. We know how, he saved Draupadi from the traumatising situation of "cheer haran" and When a demon had kidnapped 16,100 women, Lord Krishna🦚 rescued those women and they asked Krishna to marry them as they were petrified to go back, following his art of chivalry Krishna did not refuse and married them all to dignify them! Last but not the least about the f-word, you're absolutely right It's very much normalised now, similar to the fact that other words like Shit, crap or hell which was considered bad in the 70s was normalised in the early 90s. Many don't like to use profanity or curse words but as per the famous psychologist Jordan Peterson It's an involuntary response to use them. He explains the history that many primates have different sorts of alarm cry while being attacked by cats or eagles from the sky and snakes , hence each distinctive alarm 🚨 cry for each type of dangerous animal. That alarm cry system Is the same system that we use to swear with, we use short guttural words like f word, so they're short old archaic words and we have a separate system that utters those sorts of vocalization. It's completely Involuntary, you automatically at times use profanity to reduce your stress, etc. It wasn't even your fault Teju baby gungun 👸💗,For example if you curse the professor who gave you bad grades, you're nearly using the same linguistic system that your ancestors used to categorize during stress. I understand cursing, veg vs non veg argument but why is wearing short clothes questionable? I am sure, Tejaswi you don't wear short clothes to make boys head over heels for you. You wear it for your comfort, if someone is viewing you in a bad light, it speaks volumes ahout their character, not yours, NEVER yours. You need to understand when you should conform to the criticisms. Your choice of clothing is YOURS and YOURS only. Do you believe in Krishna? Would you say that Krishna would dictate your clothing? If we simplify Krishna to a human male, even then, he would be an ideal man, unlike so many pretentious others. You need to understand what Krishna would object. Krishna would never object to your choice of clothing, Krishna would object your bad behaviour, cruelty, hatred- within which I will include cursing too. I haven't affiliated myself to any spiritual institution yet I promise myself that I won't curse. But, sometimes, may or may not be in fun, I do end up cursing and feel guilty right after. Your mistakes get highlighted since you have a youtube channel. Mine don't, because I am not under the limelight. Similarly, the ones advising you on the internet, are no "gyaani" who hold the right to lecture you. If they were under the limelight, you too could point out hundred mistakes that they do. They wouldn't react as kindly as you did. You're deviating. You only listen to Krishna, wearing that Tulsi mala. And personally speaking, maybe, in fun, sometimes you taunt your sister as she isn't in Krishna Consciousness...please don't impose your beliefs on her. Let her find God in her own way. Understand the thing is that the real Krishna devotees never can criticise another devotee of Krishna ..so who are saying all these are not devotees at all if they follow but still not because a real Krishna devotee can't say these hateful things. but wearing short clothes being a krishna bhakt is not wrong! Gaurda Purana mentions that Brahma ji is everywhere listening to what humans are saying. but nowhere is it mentioned that you're not allowed to wear short clothes.
there are many exceptions in bhakti and a lot of rules. and you'll realise them when you continue your spiritual journey.

If you talk about dress code In the hare krishna movement, let's refer to the teachings of the bhagavatam, the charitamrita and specifically prabhupad's statements on dress code in bhakti yoga. In 1966, In new york Prabhupad says "after hearing Bhagavad Gita you should remain in the same position, you don't have to take dress like me or give up your family and become mendicant like me. No It's not meant like that. You have to change your mentality, that's all"
Let's take another conversation from 1974 paris where jyothirmayi(French) tells prabhupad, "why are we dressing like Indians". Prabhupad answers "I Have not said you dress like that, Did I tell you to do It? We are not concerned with the dress. We are concerned with the advancement of spiritual understanding that's all"
In Melbourne 1971, someone tells prabhupad, don't you think your dress alienates people? To which prabhupad responds "oh dress? That's not important, you wear your western clothes, the important thing is that you become krishna conscious"
Verse from bhagavatam (10.4.3) sthane-sthitah, which means to remain In the same established social position as you currently are, if you're a student you stay a student, Just hear about lord 🦚 and add lord Krishna 🦚 to your life, no mention about changing the dress code there.
In 1977 prabhupad when prabhupad defined "grihastha dress", he was not defining it as kurta and dhoti, he defined It as a nice coat and pant as a gentleman, in short Prabhupad advised them to stay In thier up-to-date clean clothes with tilaka and sikha.
So In conclusion we can dress however we want, to spread krishna consciousness and to practice Krishna consciousness. No questions, no doubt just come as you are and surrender to the lord !🙏
So the implications about dress code is Ludacris and outrageous cuz you always wore a wonderful Gopi dress, saree or traditional dress to ISKCON temple, you always maintained the decorum and decency while performing prayers 🙏 and devotional activities. The only time you might wear Western may be for malls or other casual events or maybe in your home during the summer.
It doesn't make sense to say the women who wear sarees are slightly more pious and will get less karmic reaction or diminished If they commit atrocious activities compared to western women who don't wear sarees but do good deeds.
In srimad bhagavatam verse 2.9.34, "O Brahma whatever appears to be of any value, if it is without relation to me, has no reality. The things that are used In relation to lord Krishna are objects belonging directly to the transcendental realm"
Dress and clothes are a neutral item and depending on how one uses them, In relation with the lord, For example If one is wearing Western clean cloths to preach krishna consciousness, to speak about krishna to honour krishna, to offer food to ones deities and other devotional activities, those cloths by definition must be devotional cloths cuz one Is using them In Krishna's service. Dress Is not as non essential as hearing and chanting lord Krishna🦚 which is the most Important thing! You need to strictly follow the principles of bhakti but dress nonetheless as everyone dresses In the rest of the society as per the weather or occasion Is purely their choice and no one has any right to tell otherwise. Lord Krishna 🦚 as Protector of Women would never Impose or restrict women to wear any sort of dress. We know how, he saved Draupadi from the traumatising situation of "cheer haran" and When a demon had kidnapped 16,100 women, Lord Krishna🦚 rescued those women and they asked Krishna to marry them as they were petrified to go back, following his art of chivalry Krishna did not refuse and married them all to dignify them!
Last but not the least about the f-word, you're absolutely right It's very much normalised now, similar to the fact that other words like Shit, crap or hell which was considered bad in the 70s was normalised in the early 90s. Many don't like to use profanity or curse words but as per the famous psychologist Jordan Peterson It's an involuntary response to use them. He explains the history that many primates have different sorts of alarm cry while being attacked by cats or eagles from the sky and snakes , hence each distinctive alarm 🚨 cry for each type of dangerous animal. That alarm cry system Is the same system that we use to swear with, we use short guttural words like f word, so they're short old archaic words and we have a separate system that utters those sorts of vocalization. It's completely Involuntary, you automatically at times use profanity to reduce your stress, etc. It wasn't even your fault Teju baby gungun 👸💗,For example if you curse the professor who gave you bad grades, you're nearly using the same linguistic system that your ancestors used to categorize during stress.
I understand It doesn't feel Ideal while wearing the Tulsi mala, but don't worry, It Is what It Is, languages have words like that, some are normalised and some are yet to be normalised. Anyways pls don't worry 🙏 you'll control this soon.

I understand cursing, veg vs non veg argument but why is wearing short clothes questionable? I am sure, Tejaswi you don't wear short clothes to make boys head over heels for you. You wear it for your comfort, if someone is viewing you in a bad light, it speaks volumes ahout their character, not yours, NEVER yours. You need to understand when you should conform to the criticisms. Your choice of clothing is YOURS and YOURS only. Do you believe in Krishna? Would you say that Krishna would dictate your clothing? If we simplify Krishna to a human male, even then, he would be an ideal man, unlike so many pretentious others. You need to understand what Krishna would object. Krishna would never object to your choice of clothing, Krishna would object your bad behaviour, cruelty, hatred- within which I will include cursing too.
I haven't affiliated myself to any spiritual institution yet I promise myself that I won't curse. But, sometimes, may or may not be in fun, I do end up cursing and feel guilty right after. Your mistakes get highlighted since you have a youtube channel. Mine don't, because I am not under the limelight. Similarly, the ones advising you on the internet, are no "gyaani" who hold the right to lecture you. If they were under the limelight, you too could point out hundred mistakes that they do. They wouldn't react as kindly as you did. You're deviating. You only listen to Krishna, wearing that Tulsi mala.
And personally speaking, maybe, in fun, sometimes you taunt your sister as she isn't in Krishna Consciousness...please don't impose your beliefs on her. Let her find God in her own way. That makes God more special for that person.
