I am lucky enough to have been to Canada twice and as much as I love Britain it’s Canada that is for me the most beautiful place on this planet, absolutely stunning country 💙
Canada is nice but the nature in the United States is unequivocally the best in North America. The diversity of regions while being globally renowned for their dramatic nature, and much longer seasons you can enjoy vs the short summer in Canada and mud and bugs that plague the summer months. Unless you’ve gone to the “big 5” national parks Southern Utah, the California coast highway, the Sonoran desert and Organ pipe Cactus. I’ve traveled extensively over North America and the Canadian Rockies are the only thing in Canada even close to globally renowned nature, and even still it’s a short season. Arches national park is a lot cooler than anything in bug infested mucky Canada
I've hiked hundreds of miles in the Rockies and yet still learned and saw a few things in this video I hadn't yet. Your videos are really captivating - everything seen and more is well explained, great video and photography, and just all around fun to watch. I'm definitely putting Mt. Norquay on my "to-do" list.
Excellent images! I visited all of these except Jasper on a road trip from Dallas with my parents in 1974, and I still remember vividly how beautiful everything was! That trip took us over to Vancouver and Victoria, (plus Butchart Gardens), down to the Olympic NP in Washington state, then Mt Rainier NP. Incredible it was! I see this and it brings back fond memories!!! Thank you for posting! Also visited Waterton Lakes NP and Glacier (US) with my daughter in 2005, which was amazing and totally blew her mind!!

Rainier, and have not already been, be sure to visit Olympic NP - amazing in so many ways! 3 sections: 60+ miles of Pacific Ocean frontage, temperate rain forest with mosses and waterfalls, and the alpine section in the center, esp. Hurricane Ridge! It's a must-see park!!!
Thanks for sharing. That's my playground! 🇨🇦 There are so many possibilities depending on your skills. The Rockwall Trail is well known totalling 57 kms over 3 mountain passes. Give yourself 4 nights/5 days to complete the loop. Rated difficult. This hike will put your skills to test. The trail is well marked. You will experience weather patterns, wildlife of all kind and stunning views assured.
Great video. I visited Alberta and BC in 2004. I hiked to Six Glaciers Valley, ate goulash in Agnes Lake, canoed on Moraine Lake. I would love to revisit but there’s still so much to explore in the world and not much time. Canada is awesome.

I agree, though I've only been to Toronto and New York, but Calgary is the my next trip to see Banff and Jasper. I want to see Vancouver aswell. Have you been to Calgary or Vancouver ? which one is nice compared to Toronto ?
The downtown is no different than any other-big buildings, snarled traffic and rude drivers. the Stampede parade and daily rodeo sure is fun. You have to admire how tough cowboys are to ride the powerful broncos and bulls.
The areas surrounding Vancouver are spectacular like the Stawamus Chief, Glaciers you can fly to and the pacific ocean full of Orcas. There is so much to do in and around Vancouver. If you've never been I would definitely plan a visit.

Difficult to say what the favorite was. The Sir Donald travers? The north face of Mt Fay? Spending several days at the OLD Canadian Alpine Club Hut in Banff (the last summer before the lease ran out)?
I'm traveling solo I was thinking of doing contiki plus I also want to see the northern nights at some stage. What's your honest opinion? Contiki or grab a car and diy? Cheers :)
I would either rent a car or find a ride over to Lake Minnewanka, which is relatively close to Banff. In Summer you can usually see the northern lights from there between 1 and 3 am.
Alice Ford Cheers for that, yeah I'll definitely look into that hopefully can find a cheap place to hire a car for a couple of weeks. Didn't know you can see them so far south as Banff. Might even see ya there :)

You should have your own show on the Travel Channel. You’re filming is very good because it very stabilized and you cut the scenes constantly to keep people interested. Great aerial photography, thanks for sharing the pictures and the info. I am not even going to get into the argument of global warming debate but there are many researchers out there in Banff and Glacier monitoring ice movement every year, not just someones anecdotal reference. Keep up the good work.
You know that Banff glacier, along with most others, has been receding for thousands of years, right? It's normal, and it's a good thing that they're going away and not coming back. I was in the southern part, in Washington state. Amazing stuff.
I think I’ve learned more from other you tubers than I have at work, but I’m sure it has helped. Not sure I would even be making videos of it weren’t for my “day job “ and it’s ability to give me flexibility and travel. Thanks for watching

I went this winter and absolutely loved Jasper
lived in Calgary [2 hrs. east of Banff national park ] for 30 years .I agree with this young lady , this IS one of the MOST beautiful places on earth.
