And he was broken but even in the end he only thought about his friends.. even if he was falling apart he never stoped to believe in Thomas .. and he just took the pain from the boy , who’s world was too wicked for him. I first found this song as a little 12 year old who unfortunately had depression at the time. 3 years later, I come back to this song once in a while, a sense of pride in me knowing I overcame a lot. However, that line in the song will always break my heart for multiple reasons. Beautiful, nonetheless.

I found this song back when I began high school and all the years of repressed mental health disorders came crashing on me and I felt so incredibly lonely. Honestly, each of the verses of this song remind me of specific situations during that time ex "did you find it hard to breathe? Did you cry so much that you could barely see? In the darkness all alone and noone cares, there's noone there" this is perfectly describing how I felt during my regular panic attacks at that time. I have so much sentiment for this song and still sometimes listen to it when I feel sorry for myself and need to cry it out because I really wish I could o back in time and tell that teenage girl that everything will work out and even though her mental health will still kick her ass from time to time, she will know how to deal with it this time.
This is the song I needed to hear. Thank you💙

I’ve listened to this song so many times i can’t tell you how many times i’ve come back. This just reminds me of 3 of my favorite movies. The Maze Runner, The Scorch Trials, Death Cure. It reminds me of the my favorite characters death, Newt.

This song helped me get through personal trauma from when I was really young. It still makes me cry, but I think even when I forgot about this song, it still somewhat saved me from spiralling further than I already was. To anyone else who's been hurt from a young age or at any point in their life, whether that pain is from sexual trauma, witnessing death, or being physically hurt, you're not alone. You just can't see others' flares yet and that's okay, but I hope someday you can heal and find the happiness you deserve.

all he wanted was to die from the beginning, climbed up those walls and jumped right off and Ably saved him. Thomas granted his wish. If he did not want to live I couldn't see my Newtie suffer from something he doesn't want. Newt has never asked for anything else besides his wish to die, he deserves better, a better life in heaven.
