My room at Porini Lion Camp in the Maasai Mara, Kenya

Wondering what a luxury tented camp in the Maasai Mara looks like? This is one of my absolute favourites and all the Porini camps are a massive hit with clients, because they provide all the comfort you need but in truly exclusive private conservancies miles from the crowds in the Mara itself.
And obviously there are no fences between the conservancy and the national park, so you get all the wildlife and none of the tourists. Perfect.
