If only one of the spring - summer leagues make it , the one that stays should take some teams from the one that folds . If XFL survives, they should take Birmingham, New Orleans , Michigan and Philadelphia.
Im say this no disrespect to anybody but some of the NFL players that are struggling that need that more in game playing time should look to get on one of these teams in the off-season to improve there game i know i would if im struggling so badly
Stallions probably are the best team. Now don't get me wrong....I love the USFL, but I really hate this hub set up. New Orleans isthe cheif rival of the Stallions, yet they are basically playing 2 home games. Having your own fans brings an energy to the game that is sometimes lost in this current league. Not saying today's outcome would have been different, but simply pointing out a huge negative with the hub system. Many times the second game draws like 10 fans in the stands.
I thought in these situations they move the game to a neutral site, like Memphis. I believe they did this for Houston and Philadelphia when they hosted their hub mates.
Good thing next year all if not most will be in there markets. But I definitely agree. It was a mistake confusing that format. Especially seeing how successful the XFL was.
As Alabamian, it’s hard making people here care about anything other that Alabama/Auburn football. It will take time but once enough time has gone by. Alabamians will come out to support.
Saying "no one" shows up is a silly take. You can clearly see the home side of that stadium has plenty of fans. Protective holds 45k. Looks like about 15k to me which is solid for this or any spring league.
Especially considering BS are the only USFL team that had an actual home stadium from the beginning, and had the best chance of all to build a local fanbase.

@@neetrab yes maybe it’s the way to do it. AAF and previous XFL felt more energy behind it. The XFL and USFL this year have felt pretty hollow and lifeless but it’s probably just the different approach with the money, and at this point the frugal approach might pay off in the long run.
Lot of great play from amazing White quarterbacks and some of the other White players. Love Birmingham’s number 12 and 59. NO’s White kicker continues to be lights out. Also love the T set backfield they’re running. Impressive run blocking from those big White hogs on the O Line.

They're the most complete team I've seen, but the XFL showed just how unpredictable endings can be.
