- Check out the highlights as Case Cookus carried the Philadelphia Stars to the 37-31 victory over the Pittsburgh Maulers. Cookus threw for 235 yards and two touchdowns. Matt Colburn II rushed for 82 yards and two touchdowns. Philadelphia moves to 4-3 on the season.

9:45 On that punt return for a TD, the officials, all of them, seemed to have gone blind because #25 for Pittsburgh nearly pulled the jersey off of the Stars gunner. I mean, it was blatant and no flag was thrown.
Looks like USFL is aiming at lighting up the scoreboard. Big hold on the jet sweep PITT TD too.
This was a very good game! With New Orleans forgetting how to play, it’s nice to see Philly is starting to figure it out

They need better promoters, but if it was played in either team's respective cities, there'd be more fans, I think.

OMG number 5000 on the WHY no fans question list......they are using only 4 stadiums to play games to keep travel costs WAY down while the league establishes itself.....VERY smart the league broke better than even last year.. the balance sheet will probably be better this year as Memphis and Michigan are also drawing fans in their hubs as well.
The yare also not giving tickets away like some people suggest to Bloat fan numbers and sticking to a plan.

@@jeremiahk5335 Here in Europe, we can't play American football, but so many fans go to the games too... NFL and NCAA have attendance over 70k and play for 5 months then we just wait... USFL has a chance to cover the interest of fans, but there is no promotion, TV broadcast or information (in the EU at all)… there were 3 million applicants for tickets for the NFL game in Germany… why doesn't the USFL also reach out to the EU??

Did you watch the same game? Williams is the entire offense. This line is horrible, the wideouts have been getting no separation, and the run game has been useless.
@@AAdams-qi5lz this and Birmingham both ended with the QB holding onto the ball too long, go back watch. He gets good yards the first few times then it gets predictable and he’ll check down and now throw the ball and go for it.

I know Pittsburg is only a 2 win team thus far, but man I will just say they do NOT look like they team from last year.

Last time these two teams played it was painful to watch. Offensive if you will..But today these teams light up the scoreboard. This looks more like the Stars offense of last year. Cookus looked alot more like he did last year. But still trying to do a little too much at times. Can't be reckless with the football.

5:51 can someone explain to me why the Stars #84 was allowed to come back into the field of play and cause the fumble? Was it cause he got blocked out by a Maulers guy or was it a missed call? Huge change of momentum in the game for sure

Are the commentators remote? Like not at the game? The commentary is sooo lagged. This encapsulates this whole league .

@@cjgutta Not flying commercial. The quickest route is 4 hours plus with a layover in Charlotte, and that's if you time the schedule right. With remote technology available, Fox isn't going to charter a flight for the announcer.

Pittsburgh Maulers in the same city of NFL Steelers in with the same colors ; not a good idea , if you want to create identity, first play in a city with no NFL team and second dont use the same colors.
