It’s a tv series, we can ship serial killers, abusers etc as much as we like. I wanted him dead when I was watching it society. Now that I finished it they’re the only memorable couple! That I’m obsessed with!
I think that this sometimes is a toxic relationship but when it really comes to it, Campbell doesn’t want to lose Elle. You could see that he was scared when she was sick.

he doesnt lover her, he's gaslighting her. he's a psychopath, that means he literally has no emotions. so the only emotions you see coming from him are faked to make her think he loves her. its abuse.
physcopaths dont feel love like we do they feel obsession. They love people for what they offer to better their own lives/they love how people make them feel, thats why he was afraid to lose her - not because he actually cared for her well being or happiness.

I liked it too. Obviously I don’t like abusive relationships. I just thought it was one of the more interesting plot lines in the show.
I believe Campbell would go crazy with me cause the moment he woulda stopped drowning me I am SWINGING. And I understand Elle she is like 5'4 and he is like easily over 6 ft. She has to yield and obey. I knowing that he could hurt me would fight back but that is because when I get hit I hit back. I feel so bad for her. Nobody deserves this
