I like your idea, but for that to work they really have to sell that there is a previous connection there or it gets a bit far fetched based on one moment at Singh's. People have theorized ever since s1 that they have a 'kook past' - I think that's due to how their interactions were written and how Drew and Madison played it. It's not like it's out of thin air, especially since she's Sarah's bff and he's her brother. A lot to play with there in my opinion.

That's why he became obsessed with Kie. She was the person in his life that called him about when he messed up. That's why they are so interesting and not necessarily in a romantic way

Screaming crying and throwing up. First off I absolutely love these two sm!! They’re already endgame / canon in my mind. Like the potential is there and even though a lot of ppl may disagree they just cannot deny the chemistry and tension. realistically, it’s a no. It’s intricate to Kiara’s character that she’s intensely loyal and even if she were able to forgive his transgressions against her, on a personal level, how would she be able to look her friends, who she’s been through so much with in the eye and also end up with him. That being said, love their scenes together. There’s always so much fire, passion, intensity, the chemistry between them is just off the charts. It’s also so interesting to watch that no matter how at odds they are, Rafe treats Kiara with a certain familiarity. He calls her Kie like 90% of the time, he says he’s always liked her, he has her number in her phone. When he needs to approach the pogues in a context that isn’t immediately violent, she’s the one he approaches. She’s the only one he’s shown any degree of civility to- it’s like the writers purposely want to make it noticeable that they have had a relationship in the past that was actually some degree of cordial and it makes the audience ponder.
I don’t ship them as a couple but that intense chemistry they have needs to be explored and I think it will be in season 4, maybe a past connection between them or Rafe admitting he has a thing for her in a flashback or something before Rafe knows ab it Kiara and JJ. The way Rafe acted with her in the room was unlike him based on his behaviour with others, he acted more gentle with her (I know he hasn’t always been that way) which is why I think he may have been with her in her kook year and he may have feelings for her again although I don’t want them together. He calls her Kie not kiara which had to have been intentional in the writing because it’s very known she’s only called that by people close to her, so maybe it’s old habit for him. They also could have made Rafe act like he usually does in the room and he could have left Kie but he didn’t, it’s so fascinating to me
Putting her and jj together for fan service was wrong because now everyone sees how her and rafe could have something and they want her with rafe now and quite frankly I want her with rafe too. You can just see how he's different around her and he can and will change for her but he's also toxic and her and jj are good together but it felt rushed. Spoliers of season 4: I love Jiara but hear me out. Now that JJ is gone, as kiara begins to heal maybe they'll gain a friendship, especially since he has to work with the pogues season 5 anyway to get justice of groff and rose, and get wheezie back. Kiara is probably going to break down at one point and rafe is there and the only one who could to comfort her (Cause everyone is doing something else). Unfortunately there is only going to be 1 more season so if they did have a romance, it definitely wouldn't be a slow burn like it should. However they could do some time skip towards the end of them being there. Some people are predicting that kiara is pregnant with jj's baby, which could make sense. Because she is the mother of that baby, that has jj's blood and is the only one left of jj's family by blood, that's how kiara would get the money because it's her baby and jj isn't there. Sarah, Rafe, and the others would probably help her raise said baby just like they would with Sarah and John b's. I'm only 57% confident in the kiara pregnant theory mainly because sarah is already gonna have one. Back to the rafe and kiara thing, I kind of doubt there will be romance romance between them in the last season because kiara wouldn't just move on from jj and his death that quickly. However, I think they could help each other heal. This may be a controversual thing to say but I think season 4 rafe versus season 4 jj, rafe is less toxic in a relationship in general (not just with kiara). I'm not hating at jj at all and I understand the importance of him taking risks (cuz he'd do anything for his family) but he did a lot of things that put them in jeopardy, and then he was drinking and not caring about anything at one point when it was kind of because of him. AGAIN, I love jj and by all means, rafe isn't perfect, but rafe is changing for the better. Did JJ have an excuse to be as chaotic as he was, especially in season 4, yes, but still. they have chemistry but not in the way you think 😂 like i truly just think madison and drew were trying to look at each other with hatred/challenge in their scenes together, but because they’re both attractive and there is unrelenting eye contact (plus they’re friends irl) that people are misconstruing that for romantic/sexual chemistry. They’re also comfortable being physically close to each other. We already know that madison tends to have a lot of chemistry with people when she’s not trying at all (she had chem with JJ, John B, and even Sarah) but not with pope, who she was actually supposed to be romantic with. In reality, Kiara would never date rafe, nor would she want to. The closest thing I can see is Kiara having a crush on her best friend’s brother back during the Kook year, but given the amount of disdain she looked at him with in s1, i doubt it. And Rafe, I could see him also thinking Kiara’s hot and him liking her simply because she’s half Kook and fiery, but that care ended with the end of season 1 when he tried to choke and then kill her. I think Rafe maybe has a soft side but only when it comes to certain women in his life (Sarah, Kiara, Wheezie) but i think that’s only to show that he’s multi-faceted, not necessarily because he has a crush on Kiara or anything.

I think that rafe has a crush on kie, maybe.. maybe like in s3 especially but I always found it "weird" that he called her kie when only her close friends call her that and even jj who shes "dating" I don't think it's ever going to happen, kie and rafe but I can see, and damn would I love to see, them having a good friendship. I mean, he's really gental with her, he opens up to her, which he doesn't do to other people and he respects her. Screaming crying and throwing up. First off I absolutely love these two sm!! They’re already endgame / canon in my mind. Like the potential is there and even though a lot of ppl may disagree they just cannot deny the chemistry and tension. realistically, it’s a no. It’s intricate to Kiara’s character that she’s intensely loyal and even if she were able to forgive his transgressions against her, on a personal level, how would she be able to look her friends, who she’s been through so much with in the eye and also end up with him. That being said, love their scenes together. There’s always so much fire, passion, intensity, the chemistry between them is just off the charts. It’s also so interesting to watch that no matter how at odds they are, Rafe treats Kiara with a certain familiarity. He calls her Kie like 90% of the time, he says he’s always liked her, he has her number in her phone. When he needs to approach the pogues in a context that isn’t immediately violent, she’s the one he approaches. She’s the only one he’s shown any degree of civility to- it’s like the writers purposely want to make it noticeable that they have had a relationship in the past that was actually some degree of cordial and it makes the audience ponder.

I don’t ship them as a couple but that intense chemistry they have needs to be explored and I think it will be in season 4, maybe a past connection between them or Rafe admitting he has a thing for her in a flashback or something before Rafe knows ab it Kiara and JJ. The way Rafe acted with her in the room was unlike him based on his behaviour with others, he acted more gentle with her (I know he hasn’t always been that way) which is why I think he may have been with her in her kook year and he may have feelings for her again although I don’t want them together. He calls her Kie not kiara which had to have been intentional in the writing because it’s very known she’s only called that by people close to her, so maybe it’s old habit for him. They also could have made Rafe act like he usually does in the room and he could have left Kie but he didn’t, it’s so fascinating to me
Putting her and jj together for fan service was wrong because now everyone sees how her and rafe could have something and they want her with rafe now and quite frankly I want her with rafe too. You can just see how he's different around her and he can and will change for her but he's also toxic and her and jj are good together but it felt rushed. I will never understand how some people can ship them/ romanticize their relationship! He tried to kill her, TWICE! Nothing would make any sense. Rafe needs help, Sofia may can help him hopefully. Romanticing a toxic character just because he's hot, it's not it babes. His persistent staring screams trauma and psychopath vibes, while Kiara's eyes when he's on her field of view scream HELP! That was the whole point of this "relationship". He needs therapy, healing. Imagine passing this part, as it's something normal for him to be the way he is. Future only knows how his character will develop after his father's death! He needs people by his side to help him. Then if he's healed, he can have a love interest, besides Kie. They could be good friends in the future maybe, not that this is gonna erase his actions, but he could be a better person. I love Jiara but hear me out. Now that JJ is gone, as kiara begins to heal maybe they'll gain a friendship, especially since he has to work with the pogues season 5 anyway to get justice of groff and rose, and get wheezie back. Kiara is probably going to break down at one point and rafe is there and the only one who could to comfort her (Cause everyone is doing something else). Unfortunately there is only going to be 1 more season so if they did have a romance, it definitely wouldn't be a slow burn like it should. However they could do some time skip towards the end of them being there. Some people are predicting that kiara is pregnant with jj's baby, which could make sense. Because she is the mother of that baby, that has jj's blood and is the only one left of jj's family by blood, that's how kiara would get the money because it's her baby and jj isn't there. Sarah, Rafe, and the others would probably help her raise said baby just like they would with Sarah and John b's. I'm only 57% confident in the kiara pregnant theory mainly because sarah is already gonna have one.
Back to the rafe and kiara thing, I kind of doubt there will be romance romance between them in the last season because kiara wouldn't just move on from jj and his death that quickly. However, I think they could help each other heal. This may be a controversual thing to say but I think season 4 rafe versus season 4 jj, rafe is less toxic in a relationship in general (not just with kiara). I'm not hating at jj at all and I understand the importance of him taking risks (cuz he'd do anything for his family) but he did a lot of things that put them in jeopardy, and then he was drinking and not caring about anything at one point when it was kind of because of him. AGAIN, I love jj and by all means, rafe isn't perfect, but rafe is changing for the better. Did JJ have an excuse to be as chaotic as he was, especially in season 4, yes, but still.

Before i start my comment i'm just analyzing Rafe character not tryna justify his actions ,Rafe has some serious mental issues since a young age but noone cared enough to help ,everyone in his fam knew but they could not bother to help ,Ward mental abuse made it worse n it led to his cocaine addiction....thats the difference between him n JJ ,they had almost same struggle with their dads but Rafe was already unstable so it led to him going psycho ,his family failed him big time ,they could have easily shipped him to a rehab lol ,so how do you expect someone with all these issues to act normal ? in season 2 he had a meltdown after shooting Sarah .. He asked his father for help n hisfather simply told him to man up ignored everything again , He always has these kind of meltdowns questionning his sanity n what he has done ,Its like he is also tryna convince himself , I personally see a room for character developpement /redemption with him ,I can see everyone forgiving him but he got a lot of work to do for that to happen, He needs to help them or sacrifice himself ,Anyway if you ask me sure he is horrible but deep down he is not that evil ,he just needs someone to love him n care for him ,He never had that ! They’re also comfortable being physically close to each other. We already know that madison tends to have a lot of chemistry with people when she’s not trying at all (she had chem with JJ, John B, and even Sarah) but not with pope, who she was actually supposed to be romantic with. In reality, Kiara would never date rafe, nor would she want to. The closest thing I can see is Kiara having a crush on her best friend’s brother back during the Kook year, but given the amount of disdain she looked at him with in s1, i doubt it. And Rafe, I could see him also thinking Kiara’s hot and him liking her simply because she’s half Kook and fiery, but that care ended with the end of season 1 when he tried to choke and then kill her. I think Rafe maybe has a soft side but only when it comes to certain women in his life (Sarah, Kiara, Wheezie) but i think that’s only to show that he’s multi-faceted, not necessarily because he has a crush on Kiara or anything.
