Home Automation Using ESP8266 Nodemcu. Easy iOT Project.

Here, I showed a home automation project with esp8266 / Nodemcu using iot. Yes, internet of things. This allows us to control room lights from anywhere in the world as long as we have an internet connection. I have used very simple things like a node mcu and a simple relay board I have used Arduino uno to give separate power to the relay and node mcu. Watch the full video to know more

I am facing issues with relay.
My relay is getting NC to NO.. on applying both 3Volt and ground
When I touch input pin of relay to 3volt of nodemcu it gets switched... And if i also connect it with ground pin of nodemcu..it also switched on

Nice, but आपने स्विच बोर्ड/बॉक्स के अंदर Arduino, NODE MCU, Relay Module सभी चीजें बिना fix किये, यूँ ही खुली छोड़ रखी हैं. इसीलिए जरा सा स्विच बॉक्स हिलने डुलने से उनके Circuit (Open PCB )आपस में Short होते रहते हैं और आपका System काम करना बंद कर देता है. यदि AC 230 V से Short हुआ तो बड़ा नुक्सान हो जायेगा। इन सब को, कम से कम Glue Gun से ही फिक्स कर दो. AC Switch & Socket के सभी terminals को Cover करो, नहीं तो Box pack करने पर ये PCB से short हो सकते हैं.

Can anybody please help me with this!!!!!
When I connect NodeMCU to my laptop, in device manager it shows FT232R USB UART under other devices with an exclamatory mark[!].
I tried installing FTDI drivers, then it showed USB Serial port(COM3) under Ports(COM & LPT),
when I try to upload code it shows selected port does not exist or your board is not connected.

IffT integration is BS. It comes with limitations so whoever trying to use IFFT beware of that. Better buy tinxy that has all required components inbuilt . Fit and forget
