    I wonder if you PCB is safe to use for 220V -(240V) and at what load. I can see that your low power lines on the PCB are pretty close to the high power ones. I'm concerned getting a leakage and PCB burn. Also there isnt a single fuse on your PCB. So while it looks neat, I cant believe its safe...

    Hi, very nice proyect, I just wanto to add the relays dont have the necessary insulation and electric shielding for this to work properly, a single diode is less than suficient, I would like suggest the use;
    An insulated ouput, like the diigtal pin to a UNL2003 to avoid vcc peaks, and then a of a snubber and a varistor on each relay output.
    For the sake of the electronics.
    Good work !

    Hi, this is a great channel TH-cam recently discovered for me haha, thanks for the work on bringing it to us. I have a silly question, is it dangerous or do you need some kind of extra protection around the high voltage routes on your PCB? Could you provide some guidance on how to design them please?

    • @MrDomingo55
      @MrDomingo55 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I would avoid using this with high voltages. Design does not provide for any extra HV isolation and there are no opto isolators either. You can use this design and extend it. Alternative is, design your own base board designed to mount the ESP32 as shown here and two 8 relay modules you can find on ebay. Essentially your base board will be a 'mother board' that carries the ESP32 and two 8 relay modules. Provide for additional circuitry if necessary, produce PCB and you are good to go.

    1. 10 Small LED RGB White 5V (Planning to use PCA9685)
    2. 2 DC motors 6v or 12v (Planning to use L298N)
    3. 4 Stepper motor SG90 9gm ((Planning to use 2nd PCA9685)
    4. Control over WIFI/Bluetooth, by Android app(which I can develop)
    5. 1 Speaker with MicoSD mp3 audio in it (MAX98357A/SD car reader)
    Can I use ESP32 for these all or do I have to buy other chips as well ?

    • @meeskees4227
      @meeskees4227 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If you can use arduino for it, it will work even better with esp32 because its faster and better specs. It does have a 3.3v output instead of 5v and it can only supply like 30ma instead of the like 80ma of the arduino so u might need the uln2803 chip that is a 8bit transistor array.

    • @jugengawande3789
      @jugengawande3789 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Parag Oak I did this project a long back and did not document it anyway. But the app you need on your raspberry pi is called HomeBridge. If you google/TH-cam that you will find tons of videos about setting it up and for communicating with your esp8266 like in this video you will need a mqtt broker on the raspberry the app is called mosquito with tons of videos available for that. After that it’s only tinkering some code. To make it work. In reference to above video the circuitry for relays and module can remain same only the esp8266 will have to communicate with a mqtt broker running on a raspberry pi on the same network.
