As someone who sat on my dads knee watching on the tv the team back in the days of Toshack Heighway and co. I have never yet had the chance to go to a live game and there is no way I could ever justify the corporate hospitality prices I find this very sad. I struggle to justify paying what Sky want to watch games.
I live in New York was born and raised here and I'm 31 years old. I have had to save up every penny I had and sacrificed so much just to be lucky enough to attend 3 Liverpool games in my life. I wake up early every morning and genuinely upset when I miss any Liverpool game. I have given everything I have to this club, literally. Am I not entitled to an opinion on my club because I'm not from Liverpool ? I don't understand this and it hurts me as a true supporter of the club.
Im a life long Liverpool fan. Supported them as a kid. Im now 44. Im from Dover and live in Leeds. I'm 100% Red. I love this club every bit as much as anyone on the Kop. I couldnt watch Salahs Pen against ManU the other week because it meant ao much. I get nervous almost every match day. I havent been to a match in years. I dont have the money to spare. I have two kids and a mortgage. My money is spent on that. But i love this club. There are only 2 things that will stop me supporting them, if they get bought out by dirty oil money or death
YNWA good on you.
Why , what made you support liverpool being from Dover?
You will still support the. When the oil money comes. Trust me
If liverpool fans around the world stopped supporting liverpool and left it to people only in Liverpool to support. The club will be bankrupt over night.
Literally
It would still be a full ground every home game like it always been since they have been at the ground.
fine, and would you carry on supporting them, or choose another one to follow
All 72 clubs in the efl seems to manage it....
@@georges4835go to sleep prick
I've been a Liverpool supporter for 40 years and I'm not from Liverpool I've been to dozens of home games and been taking my son since he was 5 he's 26 now and I will NOT be told I'm not a proper Liverpool supporter by anyone, I love my club YNWA
Where are you from mate and what made you support liverpool?
I'm born and bread in Liverpool, it doesn't matter were your from that supports Liverpool. Except if your from Manchester 😂😂😂. Liverpool is a huge club, we have fans all over the world . 👍
Can't believe I'm going to type this... I'm Welsh and am proud of being Welsh, but there are Welsh nationalists who embarrass me, they speak Welsh or English with a much stronger Welsh accent than normal in front of people purely to be rude and disrespectful and then ironically whinge all day long about being disrespected, and being North Walian, living on the Scouse riviera, surrounded by Scousers, who I adore btw.... but they have the same problem, there are Scouse nationalists, to be honest I find Redmen to be a little like this so can't watch their channel, but they do the same thing that the worst of us Welsh do, they put on a stronger accent to make themselves indecipherable to people who aren't very comfortable listening to the scouse accent, and I've witnessed this first hand many times, sat in a pub with Welsh and Scouse friends and someone with a London accent walks in... and you get those few people who start talking differently, being awkward and rude, this is exactly what is happening here with the scouse journalists and I hate it, they're basically saying outsiders aren't part of their group, like they're second class citizens.
I used to live in Wales, beautiful country
As a young Scouse kid I used to go on holiday to Wales, I know what you mean. Switching from speaking English to Welsh and the best one was bursting into Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau when we walked into the pub 😂😅😂
2 season and 4 ballots and not one single ticket but still have to pay my membership but what for. Cancelled this year as I think I've more chance winning something on the lottery than getting a sniff of a ticket
Good job on calling those fans out, bravo craig 👏
He's calling out a journalist not the fans
He's right. 'You're not singing anymore' is a wool song, without doubt.
I'm a Liverpool supporter , but I don't live in Liverpool, I live in Northampton, which is in England , So I have the right to support any team in the premier league , But I chose Liverpool because I love the club, even if they drop to the championship I will still love and support them.. Am I doing something wrong ?
What made you choose liverpool?
@@DroneFP I just love the club , it makes me feel part of a family.
Football fandom, especially in Europe, is culture. And culture is the values, history, aesthetics, language and passions we share as a group. Your dedication to a club shouldn't be measured in how much money you spend, how many songs you know, how many games you go to. It should be measured in how much you identify with the values the club represents, how much you value being part of a community who share the experience of every goal, every win, every loss, every trophy, every disappointment. Or even better, shouldn't be measured at all, especially if you want the culture to be inclusive, inspirational and grow. YNWA does not stand for "You'll never walk alone - as long as you were born in Liverpool, buy a shirt and season ticket every year and sing our songs." If you consider yourself a true fan, you should contribute to a culture who's values and history inspire others to do those things out of pure passion. No one wants to join a community where they'll forever be considered a 2nd tier member and looked down upon by their own.
so there was a culture to lfc that attracted you in the first place, and that culture included what type of songs are sung, the one referenced is such a non liverpool song culturally, so what if someone tries to change that culture are we supposed to accept it because some guy with yt fans says so
@@brendanmoore3938 I completely agree with you that it's a bad thing if a new wave of fans come in and tries to change the culture to something less appealing and true to what LFC is. But culture is ever-changing, and not all change is bad. In general terms, of course, not specifically talking about this song. Let's say an old song carried the soul of the club in the context of the time it was written and loved, a contemporary song might carry that soul even more truly in current times. Tradition is of course important too. But if a culture is gate-kept by traditional fans that shun anything new, including new fans and their contributions to the culture, the whole thing just becomes toxic, which isn't true to what this culture stands for either. I personally believe the correct attitude is to hold on to the traditions that carries the core of the culture, while welcoming new additions that carries the same message.
@ConfusedLynx But that's the thing. The new contributions to the culture actually run contrary to the culture itself.
Shut up ye wool
@@RichieBedfellows I doubt that goes for every single new contribution, but I agree that the ones that do should be discouraged. HOW we choose to discourage it is just as important. It needs to be done in the spirit of the club we love, and not by being toxic and elitist.
Mark fair play. You speak the truth.
This channel is toxic af imo and creates division amongst our fan base.
Craig is angry at the club/owners because there not out in the press every day telling everybody what they’re about to do.
Craig is angry about a lack of signings when the reality is we’ve 2 players in every single position plus 1 extra in midfield with Morton. Quality isn’t fantastic but it’s 23 first team players. All have to be paid a wage. Only 11 can play at once.
And lastly Craig is a bit of an emotional one, he’s soft.
Thank you for calling out those fans👍
He's calling out a Liverpool Echo journalist not the fans
The irony of it all is that no club at this level has a full home grown squad staff coach or owners the majority wether they are from England or abroad are not from the area that the club is in and the revenue for such clubs without outside support would be so low that these clubs would be no where near at the level that they are .
I go to anfield 4 or 5 times a year and each time pay 500 per ticket (2 of us) and I'm lifelong liverpool fan. . If only I could pay 60 quid a ticket 😂
so do you think they shouldnt protest about price increases? ever thought that if the 60 quid ones go up, how much yours will go up by also, they were protesting for all fans
Wool behaviour
also what money from you, you dont buy merch or tickets or come up with songs or banners, you just leech a living to buy a big house in spain
If you go to anfield you have a job to do, part of it is not singing shit like that - Irish Liverpool fan here
Stuff like this is why we can't get rid of FSG
what happened with David Lynch?
What do you mean?
He finally saw who Craig is…
What someone who says it how it is and doesnt play politics ?@jacknapier6668
No idea I'm trying to figure it out as well
@conorthered509they fell out he talked about this on stream a few weeks ago
Working people do not have the money to go to games any more, it is not only tickets that is expensive. Food and beverage , hotel etc is also expensive.
Your not lesser fan cause you are a working class fan. I am from Sweden and have been a fan since 1979. No one in the world can tell me i am not a real fan. My heart is my heart , and no one can tell me my heart is not real.
I am paying to watch Liverpool FC on tv, cause that is all i as working class can afford. The tickets are too high priced, cause today football is business and not sports.
as a red who goes every week, it's known we don't sing "who are ye".. "your not singing anymore" ect ect. it's not us. we are unique in our songs and our ways. we are a massive club world wide and we will have many fans from around the world coming to games. but anfield has changed and it's more to do with touts making mega money on foreign fans and fans from outside Liverpool. I think the kop and anfield road end should be local postcodes and or long time loyal fans. we need to get more young children in. I get we have world wide fanbase i really do but the touts selling big money tickets means less young reds don't get it because it's just to expensive.
The funniest part about this it's scouser selling their tickets for double triple the price
@thegerm1397 I did say touts, if there locals or not its the main problem. touts are killing anfield
Go and demonstrate your thoughts on the streets to the owners, tell them we want tickets at prices everyone can afford from specific postcodes, the ship has sailed my friend, but hey go and galvanise 10,000 Liverpool fans around that cause and postcodes. I'm being made redundant next week and I'd be my last pay check you wouldn't find 1,000 to go and march.
@whatmatters683 I email the club every year as we have a form to fill out at the end of each season. I write the same thing in it and have done for about 10 years. owners don't care all they want is to see the money. local and loyal fans are the back bone of this club. our fans around the world who don't get to come are still die hard reds but the ones that are lucky enough to go are the back bone. these fans need protecting and not exploited for being loyal. up the reds.
I think Craig has been a fantastic ambassador for this club.....I agree and support your every view
I'm a scouser and a reds fan of 56 years .. I mentioned to my brother watching the game that in all our years of watching the reds, I had never ever heard our fans sing "you're not singing anymore" I have always hated and cringed at that chant! I've always associated that chant with smaller clubs fans.
Yup, cringed when I heard it and absolutely knew there'd be a reaction, tbh.
Stop going if you don’t like it
I stopped lining the pockets of these greedy arse owners a long time ago!
Too many fans don’t understand the economics of football. LFC doesn’t function except without TV money and fans around the world. Match going fans aren’t better or more real than others.
Calm the feck down, it's a championship chav chant. Along with the likes of "oo are ya?" It doesn't belong at Anfield. It's not about tourists it's about class.
Some snide comments in here towards people from liverpool so is this a them v us channel then
So, how would they feel if all of us "second tier" fans (I live in New Zealand and was lucky enough to get to Anfield in 1999 to see Liverpool vs Arsenal) decided to switch to a club where the local fans would welcome and appreciate us? Maybe we could all start supporting Accrington, I'm sure they would appreciate it.
If this club was about keeping it local then why do we have a foreign sports group owning our club. I'm sure it should start there and work its way down
Well put Craig and some of these liverpool YT channels push this nonsense like Doyle
Yet another person Craig is going after! This channel is an embarassment to LFC.
47 Yr old Scouser here, ever since the City won the Capital of Culture award there has been a massive uptake in people who no longer call themselves Scousers, they call themselves Liverpudlians and think they are Middle Class and better than Scousers, except a lot of those people didn't earn their money fairly,if ye know what I mean 😂😂
You've just pulled that straight from your arse.
Wow Craig, you don't miss a thing. Thank goodness!
There's no time for select status in fandom be it locals or OOT'ers as they are called. Money is all the same. Great job Craig for calling them out! Ian Doyle acting like an entitled prat.
Only wools say oot'ers
what did David Lynch do? why did he throw you under the bus Craig?
Am from Aberdeen and have supported Liverpool for over 20 years unfortunately with big family I can’t go to much games in last 10 years but follow all news transfers games updates and off course this channels I have been to games but I believe the Liverpool fans all over the world that makes this club special
Thanks for the clips
Hi Craig, fair play to you, love people who shoot from the hip, I agree with you on all fronts.
I know I have not been to a game in approx 3yrs as thee expense after the price of tickets just got crazy even during the COVID periods,
I used to have a contact season holder who would do me a bargain price even dow well over the odds, and silly me when I lost my phone I lost the contacts I had. Anyway since then I have not been to a game. The prices are just ridiculous, and I have a niece that lives in Liverpool who watches out for reasonably priced tickets for me but could not get a hold of tickets. Ain't that nuts..
Used to be able to afford over the odds payments, when I was on 50 k a year. That job is gone now.
I'll keep the faith and get 2 tickets at some stage. Hopefully before I leave this world. Till then I have you my friend..
Keep up the Great work, be safe and healthy. My best to Sabrina and your family, ✌️💟 to you all

What happened with david lynch
There is a lot of moral superiority in society these days. You can see it everywhere.
graig, the liverpool echo is such a great news paper they now have to go round knocking on doors to drum up business, knocked on my door a few times last year.
The club should have more tickets for ordinary fans and make it affordable the anfield rd and kop should be for ordinary fans and main stand and the old kemlyn rd have some corporate tickets, what should be stopped is people who have 10/20 season tickets and sell them for hundreds each they should name and shame them and take the season tickets off them and give them to decent fans.ilike our world wide fan base anyone who supports the reds is one of us.👍🚩💪
The problem with football now is it's a different climate now and all the money has changed it, not always for the good of the game...alot fans have been priced out of their clubs!!! so the best for them fans is to catch the game on the tv or down their local pub.
I never agree with you Craig but I’ll stand by you with this spirit of shankley are whoppers never forget how they turned their backs on Henderson
craig, i hope you see this comment mate and i hope doyle sees it too because im about to drop some fucking home truths…i was at the lille game upper anfield road, the madrid game lower main stand near the anfield road and been to 4 other games this season between anfield road and main stand and the kop. i’ve supported this club for 30 years and i have to drive 2 hours each way to go to the game as im from birmingham. Last night the kop with the “hardcore” fans who i completely respect was silent and i mean fucking silent and has been so multiple times this season, all the noise now comes from the new upper anfield road end as there is a collective of younger vocal fans who are desperate to support the club and make noise. In the lille game there was a 5 minute period of allez started and maintained by the anfield road end in reaction to the lille fans who turned away form the pitch and were waving gesturing up at us around 57mins, of course friendly banter and caused great noise/rivalry and all this noise was led by young and also FOREIGN fans, scandinavian, chinese irish etc. Liverpool is meant to be a welcoming place and the vast majority of people are but there is this undercurrent of entitlement by certain fans who also usually seem to be FSG sympathisers and also don’t make a fucking sound at the ground yet happen to be be there every week and don’t want anyone else there. I completely agree there should be a scouse backbone to the club and fan attendance but more than that the attendance should be by fans who are going to make anfield a cauldron by singing their hearts out and backing the team, not moaning about ticket prices, outsiders, late kick off times and anything else they want to cry about. Shut your moaning mouths and focus on singing as loud as you can to support the team bunch of moaning helmets
You have a few teams to pick from to support in Birmingham, yet you pick liverpool, wool behaviour. I guarantee you will never see a scouser supporting anyone but liverpool or everton.
@ your ignorance to assume that i’m originally from birmingham is as ignorant as your whole comment, by your same logic you would then expect football players to only play for a team within 10 miles of their birthplace…very narrow minded of you sir
@lil0cal0d123 You still didn't mention where you was from 😂. I can guarantee it's not Liverpool
@ i’m not from liverpool, but where i’m from has zero relevance to any point i’ve made or mentioned in the video in the same way that neither of your comments has no counter point to any of the things ive said, you just seem to have some kind of obsession in where people are from which in the great city of liverpool isn’t relevant as any true scouser would say because they are self proclaimed as being welcoming
@lil0cal0d123 I just don't understand how you can support a team based in a city you have no connection with. Maybe one of your parents or grandparents are from liverpool and if that was the case I'd understand.
I had to travel from Australia and go onto the black market just to get a ticket to watch a game vs Hull a few years back. Absolutely a joke to gatekeep our great club.
Hospitality ; Mainly only affordable to rich tourists.Mostly Asian and USA who just go to Anfield as part of a holiday to Liverpool.Should look at knocking these down and putting in affordable seats !!!!!
Wait until you see what they're saying to fans from so-called "third world countries" online.
All for singing you're not writing anymore at journalists?
Why can't they get the contract situation sorted out with some of the players
Its only banter Craig, prime activity of the fickle fan
His mad , you explain how all 7 million Liverpool fans can go to a game ? In Paris Liverpool have a quota not all fans can go , there are only so many places.
What happened 😮Craig
Craig why do you take notice of the one time liverpool echo when it's office now is in Manchester go figure
How did David Lynch throw you under the bus mate? Thought you had a good rapport with him
Ian Doyle Isn't the Sharpest Bowling Ball in Alley so. But He sure does look like one Aye?
I’m not being funny but you haven’t been to Liverpool stadium for as long as I could remember all you do is watch games on tv and I do understand it’s tv money they get but come on your not a real fan init iv not seen you put money into the club by buying the new shirt or anything this season I could be wrong and I’ll be gladly wrong what do I know I’m a wednesday fan my teams can’t compete with Liverpool but also like one comment said you live hundreds miles away from the ground this is my personal opinion but I feel like you only support Liverpool cos it was the team that was doing well at the time you’ve never faced relegation if you supported a low level Ireland team I honestly think you’d enjoy football more cos Liverpool is full of glory hunters same as city same as united local football is where it’s at end off
Craig, you really are making a mountain out of a molehill.
True but so was the Liverpool Echo journalist
@@whatmatters683 I don't consider anyone who works for Liverpool Echo to be a journalist, so there is that.
Keep up this great work four biggies w/ o contract signings another transfer window will close w nothing now the brown nosers saying we have great depth bs to me
Give the moaning a rest for at least a day will ya
Unfortunately Craig I will unsubscribing from the channel. I wish you all the best but I found during you live streams my messages never show up because your mods seem to think me having an opinion is a reason to hide someones messages all I've talked about is how I've had it with Trent and his bullshit yet that warrants a ban your mods are power trippers and I found them ignoring why the hid my messages with no explanation or reason, so I made the decision to leave being a follower a shame really
Bye 👋
@jackpresley3254 my point exactly. So you thinks it's fair hiding messages because of an opinion. Shut up little boy. Of course some twat had chirp up
What shit is he talking , we were singing when we were losing with Rogers .lol.

Well your equally stupid for listening and replying, in doing that you have added to his income
You'd get it because you live hundreds of miles away from liverpool but somehow think you have a connection to the club , sausage.
