    I still dislike that malakai gives more faction wide bonusses to slayers than *THE* *SLAYER* *KING* . He still is a better slayer comander, but if one plays him you would expect more faction wides bonus being a KING and all, specially for such a thematic campaign

      Yeah it sucks but fortunately you can more easily confederate Malakai and get the 10% Weapon strength and missile damage factionwide!

      Agree with your point! However I noticed now you have
      -base Ungrim faction bonus
      -Ungrim skills affecting the faction (requiring level up)
      -New LH skills
      -base and new landmarks for slayers
      can now confederate other LL (even if dead faction) so you can get faction wide bonus from Malakai
      "On its own" it doesn't seem like much, but Ungrim definitely has the 1st prize for "maximum potential improvements for Slayers".

    Its so cool that the Legendary hero is Ungrim's own son. Something special about that 😊

      @@christianweibrecht6555 Its maddening, they wanna die but at the same time you have a responsibility to the regular folk of karak Kadrin to be their king and lead them. Dwarfs remember their oaths and failure as if it was blasting in their head 24/7 so its rough.

    My only nitpick is ungrim doesnt have deamonslayers' slayers in 55 yard cant die ability. I know journey end already kinda similar or better sometimes but ye.

    Ungrim's problem has never been him as a lord or his army. The update makes his slayer army even stronger, cool. But his faction effects are underwhelming at best. The best way to play Ungrim is to play a more interesting faction and confederate him, since all his benefits are to his own army you get 99% of the value in playing Karak Kadrin (the slayer faction).
    They should have made journey's end at 75% faction wide for all slayers and given the buffed version to Ungrim in his skill tree.

    he should get like 10% physical resistance and -10% upkeep for slayers in his faction effects

    Slayer Pirates are a missile infantry so Engineers will boost their speed

    Zerkovich did a Slayers Only video recently that really stacked those buffs and upkeep reductions. Doomseekers are freakin lawnmowers.

    I really like the changes to him and to the dwarfs generally, but they still could have changed his faction effects to be better as it is currently now, apart from that I find it kinda funny/strange that the new Daemon Slayer Lord starts with 500 Weapon Strength and Ungrim still starts with 440, not to mention that the New Slayer Lord gets 20% from Wound Maker, 15% from a new skill then another 8% from Ancient Grudge, at the same time Ungrim gets 10% from Slayer, 8% from Ancient Grudge adn 20% from Wound Maker. So the new Lord gets up to 715 Weapon Strength with his skill tree while Ungrim gets up to 607. Ungrim and Gotrek should be the strongest slayers alive. Period. Gotrek has a base 470 WS. So it would be nice if Ungrim could be tuned up to at least 470 WS to be on par with with Gotrek or tune down the new Slayer lord (i dont like nerfs tho) to 450. Or better yet pump up Ungrim and Gotrek to 500 WS. these changes take about less than 5 minutes via modding so I dont see why CA couldnt rectify this.

      Well ungrim also has a lot of armor despite being a slayer.

      @@keithemerson7662 so what then? Garagrim and any generic Slayer Lord shouldnt be stronger than him or Gotrek for that matter. Armor doesnt decrease your own Weapon Strength jsut because you wear it, it affects your enemies base weapon damage to a certain extent.

      It is a balancing aspect. And who knows, maybe Ungrim can win in a duel against the new slayer lord because he is reducing the base damage.
      From a more IRL thinking. Yes, armor can keep you from doing more damage because you are not a mobile. You cannot get the full momentum of the swings. It makes sense to me. Trade some of one thing for another.

      @@keithemerson7662 your speed would be only affected with armor not the strength of your hits. And his speed is much slower than the unarmoured ones and that is alright. That is IRL thinking.Tyrion has 470 with armor, Karl Farnz has 470 with armor, Archaon has 470 with armor and so on. Besides Garagrim has more armor piercing dmg as well. Have you seen reenactments of medieval fights with armor on? They hit just as hard as someone without armor on.

    There's an animation cap so doesn't matter if infantry has more than 44 speed they don't run any faster its so lame.

      Depends on what you mean by "run any faster", if you mean the speed at which the animation plays then yes it will reach a point where it won't get any faster, if you mean actual movement for getting from point A to B then no, even if you are above the cap the extra speed will make you reach your destination quicker though the disconnect between animation and movement isn't really noticeable unless you are a good amount over the cap.

      @@NightWhisper8462 Animation speed and unit speed are tied together in Total War. A chariot with 150 speed will be no slower then a chariot with 300 speed. All units have a hard cap on their speed that is not mentioned anywhere.

      Slayers will 100% run faster then 44 speed though

      Immortal empires is included in warhammer 3 by default now. So just buy 3 and then any dlcs you want. You haven’t needed all 3 for a good while.

      However game 1 and 2 base game lords will be unavailable without their respective games.
      So for this dlc you’ll be limited to just the dlc lords for the dwarfs and empire. That’s the only limitations I can think of.

    Cool but this doesn't change anything for Ungrim, if anything this just makes him worse. His main issue was just being boring, and most points here are things that every Dwarf campaign will benefit from. Even with all these buffs he is still not unique.
