    MLS needs players who can think n play at the intellectual level of Messi. Messi could create with the players at Barcelona because they got it, but the players at PSG couldn't finish what Messi created for them. As a player n coach myself, it's frustrating to play n coach players who don't get it, especially when it's really simple.

    Standard player agreement? Mind your manners brother. I think you are misunderstanding that you are in the presence of the greatest player you will see in your lifetime. This is no ordinary deal because it is no ordinary player.

      Sport is competition. Where's the competition in this business deal that feels more akin to show business. Match day ticket prices being hiked because of Messi is not cool. Why price out access to the
      " people's game" ? That's how not to grow the game in one easy lesson.

      Football is not about which team is deserving, it is about who scores the goals. But, as we say in Argentina, football it will always gives you an opportunity for revenge.

    Messi's game is different .. you can't judge him only on stats because stats dont tell you the whole truth ...
    Messi is the best dribbler
    Messi is the best playmaker
    Messi is one of the best goalscorers
    in general Messi is the most complete player ever .... thats why when you compare players like benzema ronaldo kane mbappe to him is unfair to these guys .... The GOAT finished football in 18/12/2022 and now wanna have fun in Miami & it will be fun for all the fans 🙌

    From Argentina I don't understand why there are wage caps and all those rules, is there an argument for that? I mean you can be billonare selling pizzas in the US but you can't pay good wages to a futbol player? I don't see any sense

    • @Lee-fc3yf
      @Lee-fc3yf ปีที่แล้ว

      FC Barcelona are a very very good case for seeing why Salary caps are an absolute must in Pro Football/Soccer, they almost went bankrupt and are in debt 1.5Billion Dollars, their wage pay was 80-90% of revenue....crazy numbers. Players should not be earning such crazy numbers unless in very special cases.

      It makes for better competition and the sports better to watch. They get tons of TV money for the major sports like baseball and football. You get different teams winning all the time. NFL quarterbacks make 40 million dollars a year. League minimum is like 2 million for any player. So the pay is actually better than it is in most soccer leagues overall. The MLS is a candy ass league and nobody watches it so maybe the pay isn't so great but the business model exists for a reason.

    • @pm1660
      @pm1660 ปีที่แล้ว

      Por dos motivos: 1- para prevenir que los clubes se endueden de manera grosera y terminen sin pagarle a nadie (como podria haber ocurrido con el Barca) y porque "tratan" de evitar que 1 o 2 equipos se lleven a toooooodassss las estrellas.

    MLS has too many teams, the league is too diluted and why any MLS will never have any one team that can compete with any of the top 50 teams in Europe…therefore the league will never compete for the best players in their prime. I used to watch when I knew the teams and players in the league….more than 20 is too many.

    • @davidday2373
      @davidday2373 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's stupid. How is it diluted? Its Soccer, we get players from all around the world, we're not limited. In the U.S. you are not a serious league if you only have 20 teams... 30 or 32 is a MAJOR LEAGUE.

    • @davidday2373
      @davidday2373 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      LOL, if MLS stopped growing at 20 teams... NO Miami, NO Atlanta, NO LAFC, NO Austin, NO St Louis, NO Charlotte, NO Cincinnati, NO Nashville, NO Minnesota. Those are some of the most exciting and best supported teams.
