I agree about JLC to the max! I have 2 Reversos and 2 of their alarm watches - Reveille and Memovox - that have awoken me thousands of times to a new day vastly more pleasantly than my phone can.
Picked up a amzwatch's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!
I'm wearing a 2006 116520 Daytona today. I definitely think the young lady in the middle would be better suited for a larger diameter watch, at least 34-39mm. That vintage Rolex is so small it could be mistaken for a bracelet.
I'm wearing a hesalite Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch as tomorrow is the 55 yr anniversary of the moon landing. I agree - the Omega Constellation is a greatly under rated watch!!
I agree about both the JLC and Omega Constellation Globemaster. It’s hard to believe that the Constellation is not in more demand in the USA. Ripley is a correct! As a watch enthusiast, I own the Constellation annual calendar sunburst green dial. It’s one of my favorites.
Agreed on JLC and Constellations. Disagree on the Sea Dweller. I know it’s underrated for a Rolex, but no Rolex is truly underrated because at the end of the day it’s still a Rolex. I think Oris and Nomos are way underrated! Great value for money and unless you are a watch enthusiast, most people haven’t heard of them!
This is now my favourite watch channel on TH-cam , such great content and done superbly, well done sir and I got my favourite watch at amzwatch, it hasn’t left my wrist for weeks
I agree completely about JLC. They make amazing watches and are definitely the best bang for your buck in the Haute Horology category. I have always thought their problem is they don’t really have a distinctive line that makes it stand out. They also make really big watches. I highly respect them. There’s not really one i feel like putting on my wrist. And I’ve owned several.
Great video, very accurate analysis. In my 4.5 years in the game as a watch collector and enthusiast, I collected a lot from amzwatch I was thinking I was able to get a blue SD but I'm not vip enough, but I'm not giving up. Hehe. Great video.
Oddly enough, both of Justin's choices are watches I bought from Bob's: a black-dial Milgauss for my son and a Sea Dweller for my brother. My brother modified his SD by swapping the black bezel for a green one and putting a Cyclops over the date window. So, I guess he now has a Kermit SD. Today I'm wearing my GS "Katana", which I also modified by putting a Cyclops over the date window, which gives it a Rolex Datejust vibe. I think that Grand Seiko Spring Drive watches are somewhat underrated because some people think that they're simply quartz watches and don't really understand the remarkable engineering that went into them. The smooth glide of the second hand and superb accuracy are awesome, and their finishing doesn't take a back seat to any other brand.
Love hearing you chose Bob's for a Sea-Dweller and Milgauss! You are not alone in pinpointing a Grand Seiko as underrated. The Spring Drive has lots of pros.
I have to agree with the Constellation point. I have an old Globemaster METAS Pie Pan dial in blue on leather that is a timeless design, it's understated but so versatile and you can wear it anywhere. It also has that character that is sometimes missing from other models. That fine fluted tungsten bezel looks fantastic and as mentioned is hard to scratch up that easily. As for the Sea-Dweller, I'd go with a no date sub but I just might be a tad biased but it is still a great watch whichever way you look at it and I would love one but I can't justify it. Many thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Being that my parents are getting a retirement place in Florida there's a good chance I will take up recreational saturation diving. A Sub just won't cut it for my needs.
The STEINHART line of watches is, IMHO, the MOST underrated of all. I think it's partly because they are mfg direct online - and there is no room for any of the watch shills to make a profit promoting them. And their reputation for homage watches (though they do original designs as well) hurts them with the watch snobs in general. But I'll tell you this....I am wearing an OLKO Special Edition of their Ocean 39 GMT as I write this. It is a pretty faithful homage to the original Rolex Explorer II (ref 1655) that I owned back in the day....but the Steinhart is a vastly BETTER watch than that 70s era Rolex! O sold mine for over $20,000 and bought the Steinhart for just under $500...and have never regretted UPGRADING my watch and banking almost $20k. Steinhart is a German company, mfging their watches in Switzerland with Swiss movements, sapphire crystals, 316L Stainless steel, milled clasps, solid end and center links, and phenomenal water resistance. It's hard to believe they are not talked about more.
Great question! We know Sports models are not available at ADs if you were to walk in. Sea-Dwellers have a much shorter "waiting list" and will become available quicker than others.
i have a sub and the 4k SD, very similar. I like them both. I understand the sea dweller "cons" ; so what would be the rationale for the deepsea challenge than?
Awesome to hear both the Sea-Dweller and Submariner are in your collection! Without question, the Deepsea Challenge is the best of the best! Capability and durability in the highest form!
I have “real” watches and a lot of them. I have a friend who buys the #MaMaCoo we put them side by side and guess what ?! It’s unbelievable!!! I am at the Rolex boutique with her and no one can tell he has a fake
In Toronto canada I buy a super super clone I bring it to a rolex expert he say it was real rolex . Unbelievable. Your super clone look just like mine. You a expert but a regular person like me will never know. Imagine on MaMaCoo
Zenith..is underrated
If you want value for money then consider any Ball watch. This brand is criminally underrated.
Nice suggestion on most underrated!
I agree about JLC to the max! I have 2 Reversos and 2 of their alarm watches - Reveille and Memovox - that have awoken me thousands of times to a new day vastly more pleasantly than my phone can.
Love hearing you're also Team JLC! You've got a great collection of watches from them.
Blancpain and Lange are impressively underrated
Two fantastic additions to this underrated debate!
Im wearing my 2014 Breguet Type XX. Way underrated.
Lovely wrist check and vote for underrated!
Picked up a amzwatch's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!
Bulova 262 kHz quartz watches - accurate to a few seconds a year - around $500 - $600. Excellent, beautiful watch.
Awesome watch to put into the conversation around underrated watches!
I'm wearing a 2006 116520 Daytona today. I definitely think the young lady in the middle would be better suited for a larger diameter watch, at least 34-39mm. That vintage Rolex is so small it could be mistaken for a bracelet.
(1) IWC Portugieser. (2) Breitling Chronomat. (3) AL&S 1815 annual calendar.
3 viable contenders in this topic! Thank you for watching and sharing these.
Wearing my underrated GP Laureato
Great underrated share! A comfortable watch with exceptional design and a gorgeous movement. Points!
I love my GP 1945.
I'm wearing a hesalite Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch as tomorrow is the 55 yr anniversary of the moon landing. I agree - the Omega Constellation is a greatly under rated watch!!
I'm team Sea Dweller all the way. Have a 4000, and the Cameron, however my daily is the Two Tone 43mm. So underrated.
3 different SD models, wow! You really are team Sea-Dweller 🏆
I agree about both the JLC and Omega Constellation Globemaster. It’s hard to believe that the Constellation is not in more demand in the USA. Ripley is a correct! As a watch enthusiast, I own the Constellation annual calendar sunburst green dial. It’s one of my favorites.
+1 for JLC and OMEGA Constellation!

I’m wearing a BALL engineer m endurance with a green dial and I think BALL watches are super underrated!
You're not alone with this suggestion! Thanks for watching and weighing-in to the underrated watch debate topic.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this Debate! Your Globemaster sounds decadently timeless. All that Character is enviable!
The thai brand WISE is quality wise for the price underrrated.
I have never been disappointed since I became a customer of mamacoo. Their watches are of exceptional quality.
Underrated watch has to be
Heuer Monaco Calbrie 11 blue dail Steve McQueen.
Lots to love about this watch!
Watches are so delicate and intricately designed, so I have intense respect and admiration for MaMaCoo watch makers
Most underrated is the Rolex explorer 2 16570
Among other Rolex watches, we can see how the 16570 could be considered underrated. Talk about a great (and highly capable) watch!
I am wearing my omega speed master day date 39mm blue dial . I love this watch!!
What a great watch!
As a broke boy and actual enthusiast who wants watch’s prices to crater, amzwatch is a good choice.
I love the sea dweller. I understand not everyone thinks it goes with their look or can make it their daily wear, but a lot more people could!
+1 for the Sea-Dweller!
I bought a Rolex sea dweller and it is my favorite watches that I own. I also have a Rolex Daytona, but the dweller just sits so well on my wrist.
+1 for Sea-Dweller! Love hearing you choose it over the Daytona regularly. What reference do you have?
A regular sea dweller in titanium would be baller. Like a Pelagos on roids. But nooo.. they had to make the stupid deepsea in all gold wtf...
I'm here for Rip!
He's the best!
Underrated: Rolex Daytona. Just kidding.
Sea Dweller as underrated is interesting.
You made us think for a minute... 😉
@@bobswatches And you made me think about the Sea Dweller in a new way! Your videos are great. Thank you for them.
MaMaCoo watch are the best, I say this from experience.
I feel there is no underrated watch, everyone has different preferences. Only overpriced watches exists😂
I believe no man can say no to #amzwatch
When it comes to fine imitation watches, MaMaCoo delivers. I've bought from them several times, and I've never been let down.
HEY #amzwatch I have been watching you for years and im so proud of your achievements in watches.! I love you so much! Also thanks for making my day
Longines brand
ABSOLUTELY! A brand with so much history.
Being that my parents are getting a retirement place in Florida there's a good chance I will take up recreational saturation diving. A Sub just won't cut it for my needs.
How fun! Let us know if you need help in deciding between capable dive watches.
SD 116600
Also, I think the day dates are underrated
Oh! What would be your point about them being underrated?
Glashutte Original

Thanks for weighing in. You're making a case for Steinhart that many may agree with!
All dat amzwatch watches sssssoooooooo gorgeous!
Can you walk into most AD’s and buy a sea dweller?
Great question! We know Sports models are not available at ADs if you were to walk in. Sea-Dwellers have a much shorter "waiting list" and will become available quicker than others.

Rolex 116600 🏆
Team Sea-Dweller!
Rolex Yacht-Master blue face.
oooh, love the suggestion! which metal do you prefer most with it?
@@bobswatches I have the 126622. I like it without precious metal - the platinum.
Underrated? It's the next one folks
Time will tell!
Daytona
Which reference do you feel is underrated?
Rolex Daytona hands down.
Do you feel the model is underrated as a whole or a specific reference?
I really want to like your videos as a repeat Bob's customer.... but these videos have as much personality as a politician reading a teleprompter.
Ouch! Nothing is scripted here... but feel free to chat with us. We're humans and happy to discuss anything.
The Seiko 5 is such an underrated gem! 🕰️
A respected and reliable choice!
That’s a pieces of crap, quite frankly
I assume this is a joke.
