Don’t be like me and pick up every decent rare thinking, “Hey, that would be great for my next build” 😂 The fact that you can add filters and stash tabs in-game is a huge W.
Yeah that's something everyone goes through. By level 32 you're thinking everything could be an upgrade. 32 hours into level 100 you're like "that's not T7 exalted? Pssh, trash!"
@@Tenkiei Yep, I’m still at the phase where I’m getting excited for leveling gear. Like the Bleeding Heart I dropped last night.. not exactly OP but now I don’t need to ever click my life flask while leveling.
i am so confused by the loot and crafting lmao. not finding any base thats worthy to craft on. finished the normal monoliths but my gear is so bad that i die in the empowered ones but no upgrades anywhere in sight. not even finding the right bases even tho my lootfilter certainly shows them. and i dont believe that i have to craft on items that have 4 affixes where 2 are only the ones i need so is the process here that i have to gamble 2 times the removal rune so my forging power is already gone and i cant do anything with it anyway anymore? watched so many videos and it just does not make any sense. path of exile seems way easier in this part XD
Yes, but this filter doesn't hide any shards so you'll pick some up as you go. As for rarer class specific things most of the time you don't want to chaos those, but if you did you could always turn it on for a bit and removal/shatter a drop to get what you need.
Sorry if my question is dumb, But what is the usage of rule "show" in loot filter? For example, if i want to show magic or above rarity, i just can simply make rule of "hide normal" But if i make rule "show magic or above rarity", normal will still show up Thanks for the answer
Keep in mind everything SHOWS by default.... So be default normal is showing, so you need a rule to HIDE Normal. If you are target farming Rares.. so you only wanna see the ones you need. You would Show - Rare - Whatever Affixes you want Hide Normal/Magic/Rares SO the game would read the lines as " ok he wants to show these rares with item affixes, cool their showing" Next Line " But wait.. he wants Hide all rares, SO we will hid them. However since this rule comes 2nd on the list... you would still see the ones you selected for the first rule
Sorta... just depends.. For example the Bleed Warlock build filter, Its set for Ultra Endgame strictness... SO for a helm example. a T24 Helm could drop with a GOD role of stats... but it might not be on one of the 4 base helms the creator said it needed to be on.. so it would be hidden... Which im sure most of us at least for the first 150ish hours of gameplay.... a T24 with 4 priorities affixes is a insanely huge upgrade. So still need a good knowledge of the system.. and sometimes its MORE difficult to dig thru the 20 custom lines of someone else then just spending an hour to make your own

2LP Bleeding Heart is exciting even very lategame, it's a superb item base.
This was a nice guide to get started with loot filters - thanks for making it!
TYSM I was confused wherever they showed or hid stuff, now you've explained it I can work with it!
That was so helpful. Very well explained. Thank you so much, you're a legend.
The best loot filter tutorial, explained with examples TYSM
awesome guide! easy making and understanding lootfilters
Fantastic guide, thank you very much.
Thanks for learning all this so i don't have to bash my head against it
Thank You! ❤
Thanks for the explanation! Are dungeon keys also influenced by the loot filter or are they still shown?
They should be still shown

Question: For the shard filter, don't you need all types of different shards in order to roll chaos glyphs on items with affixes you want to change?
Yes, but this filter doesn't hide any shards so you'll pick some up as you go. As for rarer class specific things most of the time you don't want to chaos those, but if you did you could always turn it on for a bit and removal/shatter a drop to get what you need.

@@DarkStegodon Ah i see, great explanation, thanks a lot!
I can’t get the filter to work for stats that are under the name of the item. it’s only working for that text in white in the item description
You might have to settle with showing its item type instead
i just use max roll loot filters for each build and make changes when needed
That's another good way to do it.
