I'm with Liam on Mace Windu, I personally think the Windu hate is overblown. Sure he makes mistakes but so do a lot of other characters. He still tries to do the right thing, and Shatterpoint adds a lot of layers to his character.
7:11 I haven't read nearly enough of the post-ROTJ EU to make an assessment about the Legends Solo kids' overall stories, but from what little I have read (which at this point amounts to like 1.5 of the YJK books, half of Vector Prime, and a tiny bit of LOTF: Betrayal), I agree on the Legends Solo kids being a great example of how to do next generation characters right, without re-hashing what came before like the Sequels did with the overall direction for Rey and Kylo's arcs essentially ending them up in very similar places to their previous counterparts (Kylo turns to the light, redeems himself, and sacrifices himself against Palpatine, Rey rejects Palpatine's offer, refuses to be like her evil relative, and then is the last remaining Jedi who is going to restore the Jedi Order again), despite the many differences. They're not entirely the same, obviously, but all the ways they diverge from the old stuff is so poorly executed it just doesn't work for me. I honestly find the replacement of the EU Solo kids with Ben Solo to be one of the worst downgrades from old canon to new canon.
18:02 Also completely agree on this. Making Sabine a Jedi and shoving aside a lot of her story and development in Rebels to focus only on her being Ahsoka's apprentice was one of my least favorite parts of the Ahsoka series. Not every protagonist needs to be made force sensitive, and IMO Sabine was more interesting when she wasn't force sensitive.

38:01 I'm with Sanak on Cade Skywalker. The overall ideas of his arc are great and I like where he ends up by the end of Legacy War but some of the execution was shoddy and he kinda repeats the same character beats for a lot of the middle section of the book. On the other hand I agree with Liam on Darth Krayt, he was a standout character in Republic and Legacy for me and his overall arc throughout those books was really cool to see especially given how it connected to so many different characters and eras of Star Wars.
41:31 As much as I disliked the Obi-Wan show and as little sense as it made that Owen and Beru decided to throw hands with an inquisitor instead of just running, I did like seeing how much they really cared about Luke.
47:53 Moff Gideon was honestly a pretty bad villain. He could've been cool but in every season he does the same thing as last season: he does very little for most of the season, shows up in the second to last episode and gets the heroes in a bind, then the heroes turn the tables on him in the last episode and defeat him. He gets no real development either to make him more complex or more intimidating, his capture and escape is completely irrelevant and adds nothing since he escapes off-screen and just goes back to doing what he was doing again, and now either he's gone for good or he'll come back as a force sensitive clone or whatever. What a waste of Gus Fring.

I think Greez and Bd1 should be top of B tier right up with cere, greez has grown on me a lot and bd1 might be my 3rd favorite droid of all time he is extremley useful and looks like WALL•E😂

Thanks for the suggestion! We used to kind of do it that way, but we felt it adds a bit of a different twist to other channels’ versions of these lists if we combine our opinions. Liam does have a second channel though where he has done some of these same tier list topics on his own if you’re interested in checking that channel out. I also see Talon Karrde as the Hondo of the EU (I know most of 08 CW is EU). When I read the Thrawn Trilogy, I read Karrde in Hondo's voice 😂
