This was the perfect video for me!! My husband and I will be having a Valentine’s date and will be crafting. I’ve been stamping for 28 years but have never ventured into “coloring” of any sort, so we’re going to learn together and you gave us many options rather than just alcohol markers. Other than those and colored pencils, I have everything we need to have a blast for hours 😂 Thanks so much!!
Great video. You can also use you water/ dye based ink pads by smushing it on an acrylic block and use a paint brush or water brush pen to use your inks as watercolor. Also water color pencils water activates.
Thank you so much for this video, I had been stuck just using watercolor pencils on my stamps. This video opened up my coloring. Easy to understand and thank you for the 3 examples each, really appreciated and I am excited to try these new methods!!
Thank you! This is great information. I have all of the coloring supplies but don’t. Do much coloring, so I’m greatly encouraged. What kind of ink did you use for stamping? Different ink for different coloring methods?
There are different inks that work better with certain mediums, but I prefer a black hybrid ink. Hybrid inks can work with watercolor, alcohol markers, pencils, and pretty much anything you choose to color with. Takes the guesswork out of which ink to use!

Great tutorial! What brand of watercolor paper do you use?
what is the base paper you took for these stamps?
Most of the base paper is Neenah, the paper for zigs that works best is Bristol Smooth
@@MarieNicoleDesigns thank you so much ☺ 🤗
