    I was called out to the renters complaining about the dishwasher making a weird noise. They sent video proof of the strange noise and we had a good idea what it could be before arriving on site. Once there we were able to find the cause of the noise pretty quick and just the other problem area in which this type of noise could be coming from. At the end of the day it was a Job well done and the renters are happy to have it fixed the next day.

    Round plastic part screw is reverse thread. Would be really nice to have mentioned that. Cut the hell out of my finger.

    Wow! Exactly the problem. Hubby and I had it fixed within 10 mins! It was awesome because as soon as we saw a small plastic piece in that grinder area, we figured that was it without having to check anything else and BINGO! We are good to go! 🎉 Thank you so much!

    Oh lucky you! I had the exact same problem, same sound, though my dishwasher is about 8 years old. It would happen during the initial drain phase and there was still a very low flow of water being drained. Went through the same steps, cleared it out from inside the unit and at the drain pump from below, and even ponied up $99 for a Sears tech to come out and diagnose. All he did was a Google search on his phone and found the same info I had in the previous week! Said it would cost quite a bit more to eliminate the drain pump as the problem. I was able to find a new one for about $25 and while I had things opened up, I turned breaker back on to test the old one (applied live wires to leads on old pump - DON'T TRY AT HOME KIDS) and it worked fine. This gave me a sinking feeling. Went ahead and put the new one in, zipped things up and . . . STILL GET THE DAMN BUZZING SOUND. It's coming from the power connection area and I'm thinking it's an electric/control system problem. The pump seems to be getting less voltage, hence the much reduced flow.

    • @TDLDIY
      @TDLDIY  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jenc7086 If you watch the whole video. I show the noise it makes and go investigate what it could be and possible cause. After removing several parts we find the cause of the noise it was a piece of plastic in the cutter. Then we put it back together.
      I am not sure what more your looking for, but i can do my best to help or if you have suggestions I am willing to listen if you think it will make my videos better in the future!

    How do you get the screw out on that round plastic part?? It just turns the entire assembly and even if I hold the assembly it won’t come out. I don’t want to break the plastic part.

    • @TDLDIY
      @TDLDIY  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For the piece you are referring too i think i used a impact driver with the correct bit.

      I had to turn the screw the opposite direction from normal while carefully preventing the plastic part from turning using pliers.

    I did this and now I am having "HEAVY" light flashing ....there was some water in the dishwasher not sure if its detecting leak...any suggestions how to fix it.

    • @TDLDIY
      @TDLDIY  20 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@AjayGuPta-eq3gb I did a quick google search it says your dishwasher has too much water in it and is in flood mode.
      Possible solution (googled):
      When the dishwasher won't turn off, the leak sensor is usually the cause. If the sensor detects moisture, the sensor will try to perpetually drain the dishwasher which prevents it from turning off. You can fix this by selecting a different cycle, looking for error codes, or checking for leaks.
      They say the moister sensor is on the bottom of the dishwasher and it won't reset until it's dry. Which might involve remove the dishwasher manually drying the sensor with paper towels. If the error still occurs it might be due to a fault sensor. I would see if you can drain water out of the dishwasher if possible and proceed to drying out the sensor.
      I hope this helps.

    How did you remove the screw at the 3:15 mark? I am struggling with that part…

    • @TDLDIY
      @TDLDIY  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If i remember it might be a reverse threads. Try that and let me know. Or it was on tight i used a impact drill as seen in the video just dont hold the trigger too long.
      I hope this helps.

    Video was helpful, but don't be so damned disrespectful to the flag! It may have been a good blanket or towel at a point in time, but it's still our flag and should NOT be used as a rag!

      I absolutely love our country! I would never disrespect our flag. Please keep in mind this is a towel coping our flag and not a flag its self. A flag should never touch the ground, burnt, ripped, or be used as a rag!
