Im surprised you haven’t done Erik earlier, I have watched you fore some time now. Better later than never! Erik is an incredible singer with an even more incredible story behind him! Jona Tee behind the piano is a long time friend with Erik and what they doing together is magical. Thank you and Magnus for the reaction 🎶♥️🎶
Great reaction to this! 🤘Jona Tee on keys here did all instruments and produced it. He's a fantastic artist as well. Erik's voice is my current favorite because he has the ability to make you feel every note of everything he sings. For New Year's he did a very different version of The Final Countdown that is worth checking out, or really anything on his channel. I've yet to see him do anything that didn't make me sit up, take notice, and pay attention to the message of the song.
Thank you for that amazing reaction! Erik did an Encore to his version/arrangement of House of the Rising Sun and in it he pointed out that the song itself is dark one and that he tried to make an epic version of it. And he did create a truly epic version of a dark song. You can find the Encore on his channel. In my opinion the arrangement is absolutely unique and Erik is a versatile and awesome vocalist, a friendly and humble guy and he has an incredible life story! It worth digging into the man, his life, his music. He shared a Q&A on his channel a few days ago snd that is worth watching too!
I see in earlier comments that they have informed you about Erik. The one thing I live about him is that he is so good at connecting the song to his emotions. Also, I believe that he can sing just about anything and make it sound really good. 🤟
So glad I have a few minutes to "play" on the internet and I found this reaction. Your perspective and insights are always appreciated. Great to see you and great reaction. Thank you! Pick any song on Erik's page and you will not be disappointed.
Hearing Erik sing is listening to a great powerhouse. Even better is listening to him.singing a Sabaton cover together with our other Swedish powerhouse Tommy Johansson in Carolus Rex. A truly Swedish production, as they called it. Those two together will rock you.
Thank you for your reaction. My fist time watching your channel. Erik is so great. You should also listen to Erik doing I will always love you, (Whitney Houston). I never liked the Whitney version, but Erik made the song great. Greetings from South Africa.
Love this guy but he’s almost too perfect…I mean just look at him for one…mercy😉 The plinky piano accompaniment at the beginning is sick! Vocally he hops up and down with such ease and precision. Beautiful. Great insight in your reaction as always.❤
This was good, and Erik is very plausible singing this song. - Also, your cat made me laugh: Eric saying " uplifting" and right then the banner comes down 😹😹😹
Good breakdown of an epically good rendition of house of the rising sun. Erik is a Swedish rocksinger who been fronting HEAT and Skidrow. Jona is the producer and plays most of the instruments. You should check out the following for some good comparison and also understand the range of the "rabbit hole" of Erik. I will always love you, th-cam.com/video/1Hse-9Jv500/w-d-xo.html , Goods gonna cut you down(Johnny Cash) th-cam.com/video/VKXoGEAW3XY/w-d-xo.html , Dream On(Aerosmith) th-cam.com/video/-uBERyzvdG4/w-d-xo.html, and or Highway star(Deep purple) th-cam.com/video/Ghado2Dol-o/w-d-xo.html rock on 🤘🤘
Great version of this tune so thanks to Magnus for request , as always great breakdown by Eric . I'm gonna get hammered for this ut I like this version as much as I like Nightwish High Hopes and Falling in Reverse Last Resort. 🤘🏻🙂🤘🏻
To make long story short. Won Swedish idol 2009 Was lead singer for the band H.E.A.T for 10 years Got leucemia 2021 Joined Skid Row 2022 and left 2024 Now doing his YT channel and is cancer free
Erik is great. As someone already said he does a great Sabaton cover with Tommy J and they are gonna do one more song together, By the way Eriks I will always love you is pure magic. Thanks for a great reaction and yes you should always say my name like that. 😂😂😂😂

Pubs in the UK actually stop serving at about 10.30pm and throw everyone out at 11pm. I always loved the Animals version, until hearing Erik. He has an amazing voice. As does Dan Vasc, a Brazilian metal singer.
I really appreciate your reactions, your analyses of songs, musicians, singers and how you describe your thoughts in a colorful and engaging way. If you want to try something new with a broad spectrum, please react to something by Dirty Loops (for example Nex to you, Follow the light or their cover of Triller). I promise that regardless of your musical taste, you will be impressed by how they manage to mix technical brilliance with relaxed and joyful music making. I understand why Quincy Jones wanted them in his stable. Sick vocals/keys, sick base, sick drummer. After Sabaton, Tommy Johansson, Erik Grönwall, Opeth, Ghost - maybe try a completely different Swedish treat?😊
There’s another much less popular cover song out there with him that is just as fantastic as this one but in a way more “quiet” way. I heard the Eric version first and then had a listen to the original song. I most definitely DID NOT like the original. It’s old school music at it’s worst…sorry to say but that’s just how I feel. Now Eric on the other hand did an absolutely amazing cover of “Child In Time” with Deep Purple.
Erik is Swedish, and was Skid Row's lead singer from 2022-2024, left them to focus on recovering from leukemia.
This is a rabbithole you want to dive into!!!! Erik is an amazing singer, a fantastic person and he's got an incredible life story as well!
Im surprised you haven’t done Erik earlier, I have watched you fore some time now.

Hehe.. he is NOT pushing his boundaries.. this is nothing 😂🤣 check out his Celine Dion, Mariah Cary or Whitney Houston covers✨❤️🔥 Ore other 😉
I love this rendition! Erik is such a great singer and this is such a great song. The perfect match!

Eric is a Swedish rocksinger that has won the Swedish Idol and have been the singer of Skid Row. He has many great covers. Greetings from Sweden
The lyrics of the song cry out for an emotional delivery and he gives it enough emotion for 3 or 4 versions!
Erik is a Swedish treasure and one of the best voices out There today, Wellcome to the rabbithole of Erik Grönwall!! Love from Sweden❤🇸🇪
Erik is the KING ❤❤❤

I would call it epic. Maybe Epic Rock and Epic Metal were already taken? 🤷♂️🤘😆🤘
I get a picture of a little white mouse jumping around on a graveyard.
