- Laura tells Marty that grief manifests itself in different ways, but he's not pleased that Tim's way is to play an "Atomic Kitten" CD Jan and Marty go to see a new school for Anthony. Nikki doesn't want to be alone at the bungalow, and asks Jimmy if she can come and stay with him.......in his bed
Jimmy is anxious not to spoil a good friendship, but wonders if Nikki has been dreaming about him. She is keen to stay with him again - if he'll have her Adele has her sights set on Tim, and believes her stars reveal she stands a good chance of convincing him to be with her
Jimmy can't think straight after what he has done with Nikki, and doesn't think he knows how to be around her any more. They agree that they can't sleep together again, but still want to live together as best mates. But Marty and Tim are shocked when they see them kissing in the back garden

I’ve noticed that with brookside what ever song is playing they seem to play it in most houses but obviously not this episode it’s only heard in other houses due to it being played so loud

The flashbacks /new different camera angles obv were more annoying /a turn off to viewers unfortunately when it should have worked....... brookside was a million times better than Emmerdale and that was turned around.....

If Jimmy had continuously gone after Nicky the way she did even despite the amount of times no was said hed of been called all the names under the sun! Predator, taking advantage when vulnerbale, rape even! And in my view thats what she did to Jimmy she wouldnt stop regardless.
Emily has been dead for just over a week and it is a week after her funeral.

Yuck! I thought that Jimmy and Nicky scenes where pathetic. There must have been a male writer who had an adolescent male point of view about females and sex. Nicky, Adele, Kerry all throwing themselves sexually at men who were total losers. Especially Nicky. She could have left town right after Emily died. Or, as of this episode, she could have stayed at the bungalow, finished college, and sold the bungalow, and moved on with her life. These storylines made no sense compare to other really good storylines in the past years.
Nikki is right-handed.
