My problem is I love the mountains and I'm afraid of heights 😂 What is the narrowest point of the trail? Convincing myself I HAVE to do this one next year
I totally understand that! The good thing about this trail is that you can still see the views without hiking the more narrow/technical parts of the trail! I would just hike as far as you are comfortable with. In some spots, I just stay focused on the trail and try to ignore the fact that I'm so close to the edge. It's a popular trail, so you can also watch the other hikers around you and see how they maneuver the trail. Definitely go check it out. You won't be disappointed even if you don't hike the entire Bluff. Thanks for watching! Happy Trails 😊
You've got trekking poles in the back of your car. Did you use them on the trail? I feel like I move a bit faster and have more confident footing when I'm using my poles. Great video. Thanks for sharing.
I use one trekking pole normally, especially long trails and backpacking, but I didn't use it on this trail. It's normal for me not to use one on some trails. Honestly, I really don't know if it would have helped me or just slowed me down on this specific trip to Big Bluff.. I was kinda speedy. Thanks for watching😊
Gorgeous trail my friend, this looks and sounds amazing!
It really is a special trail...thanks so much for watching😊
it's a fun and easy hike. We have a cabin near Jasper and hike all over the area.
@cuz129 I don't know about easy😅 but it's incredibly beautiful! I need a cabin near Jasper! Thanks for watching! Happy Trails
Thanks for the tag along. My mind thinks i can still do that but my bad knees and back say otherwise. I mostly stick to flat ground these days 👍
You are welcome! Thanks for tagging along😊
Nice hike! I did this hike back in 2015. It felt like it was 1/2 mile in and 10 miles out lol. Spectacular views though.
Thank you! I totally feel you on that...the uphill is a killer and that last hard climb😅...thanks for watching!
