I literally can't ever die to Kalameet ever again just because I did that tail cut like three times in my life and every single time it took me so long that I just learned all his moves and just know how to dodge everything he throws at this point lol also, Priscilla's AND Seath's tail cut are also annoying as hell but not THAT annoying (only Seath's and Kalameet's weapons are good tho)
Gwyndolin one is very true, also Gwyndolin's lore makes me sad. They managed to make Gwyndolin be a good sibling for Yorshka, seemingly managing to keep Anor Londo together even after Gwynevere's illusion seems to have worn off, and then Pontiff locks an ill Gwyndolin away to be used as a snack for Aldrich. (And thats not even getting started on the convolution of Gwyndolin's gender thing and the varying things it says about Gwyn based on how it is interpreted) Most bosses I feel some remorse or pity for, or at the very least some semblance of respect. Aldrich and Pontiff I just hate on a spiritual level (in lore, not in gameplay, Pontiff is actually quite fun to fight. Aldrich however is not so much in that department, he's essentially just Gwyndolin in a more confined space with somehow even more magic spam). Gwyndolin I feel genuine sorrow for.
@froggologies mostly just me analyzing details and using established lore as a structure to build my own theories influenced by my interpretations of said lore. The fact that Anor Londo is still standing despite it being god knows how long after the first game already lends some credence to Gwyndolin being a pretty competent leader, and the silver knight shields suggest that the silver knights seem to be fully aware Gwynevere is not there anymore, whereas in DS1 the illusion of her was there, and yet the silver knights still guard the cathedral seemingly on principle. For Yorshka, even if Gwyndolin wasn't the best sibling, he still did make a change for the better by not trapping Yorshka in a painting like Priscilla had been, and even letting her have her own church building, whereas Priscilla had been locked in a painting, presumably by Gwyn, and kept a secret from the world. And yes, my own interpretations have also likely biased my views on Gwyndolin's lore. I am not immune to the propaganda of the literal Illusory mage moon deity that is Gwyndolin.
1:42 the Four Kings arena is absolute cancer, and it is for a real simple reason: You can't gauge distances. I DO like bed of chaos. It is a terribly designed boss fight but it, with extension of the arena before it, bears the soul, humanity, and struggle of game design that truly makes you appreciate the fact that humans are behind these games and they have deadlines or make mistakes.
