Please note the metal retaining clips appear in a different orientation to when they started before they came out when on the old shifter.
It appears it doesn't matter what way they face but to me it felt a better fit with the clips two legs facing toward the passengers.

Hello, letting you know hybrid racing released an all metal short shift for the ep3. It’s a great piece!

seton sieracki yeah there Billet piece is a thing of Art, would love one but is about 3 times the price of this. For now this will be fine but 100% in the future I’d love that Hybrid Racing one for sure :-) :-) thanks for the sub, hope you enjoy more of our ep3 vids and racing vlogs :-D

@@DiegoRodriguezAW11 thanks fella, good grippy gloves and brute force or good grippy gloves and two thin small flathead screwdrivers but be very slow and careful if you do the latter

Hi buddy, quick question, fitted the same shifter today. Found it very stiff from left to right in neutral. Do u have the same issue?

dan macefield hello Dan yes it did a little it gets better after the packing grease/grease goes. However I’ve been told you should try to re use the stock white caps on the ball joint part rather than the thinking ones that come with the new kit. Apparently this helps also.

Very good idea with the video, you might want to get a headstrap so you can use both hands. It wasn´t as easy as it looks in the video, I guess. Otherwise really great video! Thank you! Do you think this shifter would fit the EV1 2.0 Civic Sport? It has similarities with the EP3, but I´m unsure about the shifter, mostly because the EV1 is 5 speed.

Adrián Artimovič hello and thank you. I do now have a head strap but didn’t back then when I shot the video. Thanks for the kind words and glad you liked and found it helpful. I would say it wouldn’t fit but try here and see if there is one available for your car - www.tegiwaimports.com

@@PeakPerformanceReviews I was about to put my Civic on the European used car market, but you kinda inspired me not to. My knowledge is that the US Civic Si model is technically (engine, transmission, etc.) identical to the European Civic Sport. I have a K20A3, 5speed tranny and was put off by most of the people I spoke with about modifications. It is not a much loved engine, but good quality modifications could make it a more enjoyable car to drive. I believe. What is your specs? Have you swap-ed or kept the K20A3 and modified it? Is it in daily use?

@@PeakPerformanceReviews This is a no go, because it doesn´t recognize my car. Google Civic Sport 2.0 EV1, european version, with 5 doors. I have a 2004 model.
