Were Billy and friends using pistols or rifles? That seems quite a distance to use a pistol and hit anything!

From this footage, it seems to be a ways from where Billy and his boys were located, hitting their targets. Looks like Lincoln had a very wide street back in the 1870s.

It is my personal belief, based on the witness accounts, that they shot them much closer to the store. Not sure why the State chose to put that marker way out where they did.

That is what I was thinking. I believe you would have to be a darn good marksman with a pistol to hit someone from that distance and the reports seems to say the guys killed were hit several times.

There’s an audio recording of a lady who saw the ambush and she said the only person she saw was Billy the kid

Great video 👍👍👍👍 ,but my opinion is regulators were to far away brady n hindman had to b way closer to have been killed instantly or mortally wounded .i don't believe regulators wanted to take a chance n miss from that far away I'd almost bet they had to b way closer than that ,but only god knows it was such a long time ago.

Was the original wall all the way in the back or closer to the street?
You are very welcome Sir and I am glad that you enjoyed it. It is my understanding that the wall was right at the back of the Tunstall Store. That is where Bob Boze Bell also shows it in his excellent book titled The Illustrated Life and Times of Billy the Kid.

What is your opinion on Chano Silva’s claim that pat was hiding under a cot and gunned down bill on the front Prichard with a sawed off shotgun?
@@VAcreeper I believe that Billy was killed with a revolver just like the official account, but I don't believe his death was quite the coincidence that Pat Garrett made it out to be. I believe Pat received information that Billy would be visiting his lover there and when he showed up, Pat shot him down.

Have you seen the interview with Chano? His grandfather was a pallbearer for billy, was his buddy.. and Chano translated for his grandfather when they recorded his official testimony…
